I’ve had a lot of fun so far. I just tried to play on mobile though and it was SUPER bad. You can’t see the attacks that the enemies have planned because it gets cropped….can’t believe it went live that way
Finished Barrens area, had a ton of fun. If Roguelike, treasure filled, impact choice RPG type games are your thing then this is probably going to be fun for you.
And don;t listen to the haters about $$$. I finished the Barrens area with opening 1 pack (which you need to do for quest and is given for free) and I had zero trouble, and in fact plan to continue leveling my starter Party to 30 so I can use them to power level the Mercs I open from packs I preordered.

Actually, pleasantly surprised at how it feels to play. Watching the videos of the streamers do it was boring... but getting your own hands on it is different.
I do like the way you actually need to think about what abilities to use to be most efficient.
The game could use some more flair though. Like, the game boards, or the effects and sounds. Something to make it pop a bit more. Then it could be really good.
But overall, like, not bad. I might dabble in this now and then.
Not all that excited about the actual gameplay. I'm sure there's a much deeper level of combat that I have yet to realize, but I'm not sure I really care to delve deeper. Does seem like they did a nice enough job on the overall structure and progression/reward system, though ultimately that's just preying on my addiction for this type of thing.
But hey, I'm always into more single player content. I could see playing this if I'm ever stuck on mobile or worried about connection issues.

I second that on mobile devices. I have no idea what plans the enemy is scheming. It’s totally cropped out. Overall I enjoyed seeing the combat synergies I could work and enjoyed playing. I will say it could definitely use a ton more flair to spruce up the back ground.
This is a just ok mode. Better than what I was expecting, but still pretty underwhelming. This is a profanely expensive mode if you want specific mercenaries or to be competitive in PvP though. The coin system instead of dust is next level greed in terms of money spent per rewards received. This is much more similar to raid shadow legends or Star Wars galaxy of heroes than I was thinking. It’s a real time sink to grind out parties too. So while I enjoyed playing it today, I don’t see long term interest or spending money on it… it’s just not worth it.
having an absolute blast, got Anduin on the first free packs, and the amount of synergy in your team is so deep. lost of strategy and the game has lots of space for more development. I like this type of games and I hope they support this mode as they did with BG's, im thinking of becoming full time player on this mode like many started doing for BG's
animations are soooooooooooo looooooooonnnnnngggggggggggggg
game pace is way too slow, having time to think when you actually have to play is great but after a few games, having to wait for cards to explode, chest to open, victory screen to disappear and xp to be given to cards and you wait and you wait and you wait.
It feels like a bad michael bay movie. everything explode and you have to wait for it to finish before doing anything else.
I like it so far. Entertaining, can keep you playing for a long while, even tried a pvp match, everything looks just fine (my special thanks to the Millhouse Manastorm that won me by himself the pvp match by stacking spell damage like crazy). So far the only concerns on my behalf is the big need of gold for packs (and it's not a big one, considering the initial mercs and packs can work out just fine), and how non-impressing the visuals are (even if some portraits are amazing).
the amount of ppl here with the attention span of a 5 year old is incredible. the games are fast i dont know what u guys are smoking.
go play ur aggro deck on ladder like u have been doing for the past 5 years and leave this new and fresh mode. its actually an entirely different game that im happy that its on HS client so i can use my gold for it

Eh, when you figure out which bounties give which coins you can just farm them for the coins you want.
Hai guys , so .... whats your first impressions about the new mod?
I finish The Barrens area. PvE was kinda boring .. not big deal actually. But Im optimistic and expect more fun in PvP.
Whats yours ?

I just tried to get the patch on mobile and it seems like they're not really there yet...
Update: Really strange that such an esteemed company fumbles in such a way...
First impression? Couldn't find the Cashier on the game map, where Activision pays us money to endure this.

so far it's kinda underwhelming I do like how it has a unique board so maybe they will update battlegrounds to have new look to it

Its amazing that sheeplets actually spent money worth of a monthly rent for this.

The game mode is the worst thing ever happened to Hearthstone, Blizz/Activation simply killed the game.
Dead but dreaming
