I've been having some trouble completing with the following:
Hunter, Warrior, Paladin, Shaman
Paladin I've gotten to 8 several times so I'm sure I can complete that one with some luck, but the other 3, I just get destroyed by 6 or 7 each time. In the community's opinion, and especially for those who have completed the run with these classes, what are the best packages available to each one?
Have any dungeon run guides been written yet? Along with the "secret" treasures, etc. I can't seem to find one (although I haven't looked all that hard).
Very helpful, thank you. I kept trying the Pirate route with Warrior and it seems aggro just becomes useless after about the 5th boss.
Yea, aggro can be insane with multple patches + captains, but some bosses hard counter it as you said. (The worst besides the lava chamber is king RNG with an early 3/15 taunt, then turn his hand into this....)
For me warrior was the hardest, so my advice is to make a strong recruit warrior with the artifact that makes minions cost no more than 5 mana. Another option is smaller minions (pirates + enrage) and the stealth artifact. In a minion based decks like these I strongly recommend you take the primordial wand - the one that adapts a minion several times (windfury and +1/+1, +3 attack). It won me so many games. Keep in mind that smaller minion decks struggle A LOT against the lava chamber and the pathmaker Hamm so you can have a very nice deck and still lose on 7/8 boss.
For hunter I took the artifact that makes minions cost not more than 5 mana and picked the biggest guys all the way. Had several Kathrenas which helped a lot. Flag is very nice, upgraded hero power is good as well. I had luck with this one so I can't give much advice
Shaman - 2 ways - elementals or jades. Always pick double battlecry > deathrattle > wish > primordial wand. Many Ayas or Kalimos usualy win you the game with double battlecry

Just got it with Jades. Literally every pick gave me Jades and the first treasure was battlecry. No contest all the way through. Thank you for that. I think Warrior has been my biggest struggle. I'm gonna try the 5+ route.
Big Hunter worked for me. I picked like 3-4 Katrinas, and a whole mess of legendaries and big beasts- +5 and deathrattle, even the last boss was pretty easy(got pretty lucky with the draft however- and one well timed boots of haste)
Shaman can be pretty crazy with jades. Especially if you get double battle cry.
Hunter the +1 flag is really good with the strong beasts and deathrattles.
Paladin, got justicar's ring and mobbed with recruits.
Warrior was the class I had the most trouble with and took multiple runs. In the end took big charge minions and killed the final boss turn 4 with some good rng.
Generally though you have to roll with what is offered. Like an arena draft take the generally strongest stand alone packages for the first few then try build that into a deck.
No, don't get tunnel visioned into making a specific deck. There's many ways to win with each class and I've seen streamers win with absolute trash tier decks. I myself cleared warrior with such a deck. My first passive choices were garbage and didn't offer any synergies/direction to build the deck in so I went all in picking big minions, hoping to pick up scepter of summoning, boots of haste or just plain recruit mechanics later. I never got offered any of them. My passives were so bad that I ended up picking two mysterious tomes for science. I forgot the max amount of secrets you can have is 5 so the second one only gives 2/3 value

Treasures (even the secret one) and bosses can be found here :
Warrior was a tough one for me. 5+minion works really well, but wanted to vouch for the power of double health + weapons. Picking a weapons upgrade with Gorehowl for example, when you can realistically facetank minions every turn gives you so much gasoline in a tempo game. 7 mana deal collective 28 damage to 7 minions. After losing to the last boss on a few runs, I finally completed a run with this combo and +1/+1 minions. Picked Wish as the final pick and the reward is phenomenal.

Hunter: Either small beasts or 5+ minions. (DK is the most important card.)
Warrior: 5+ minions. (Enrage or stealth with multiple 4/3 buffers work too, but is more inconsistent.)
Paladin: Ring + Flag.
Shaman: Jade (+ Battlecry) Spellcost -1 with enough Unstable Evolution also works.

Correct, but also....
Shaman works well with Spell Damage Ring. Got 7 damage jade lightnings and tons of aoe.

Hunter, Warrior, Paladin, Shaman
Hunter - was a single run for me. Stealth and +1/+1 to minions.
Paladin - Single run, Upgraded hero, +1/+1 to minions
Shaman - Took a bit. rarely offered jades. Spell damage and lower cost to spells.
Warrior - Taunts, and +1/+1 minions

Do you think quitting the run when the first treasure is garbage is a bad strategy?
