I've completed both chapters on heroic first try using Hunter hero. While first run was somewhat of clownfest due to Robes of Gaudiness and tons of high cost cards, the second run I struggled to pick good treasures/cards and still managed to beat everything on first try.
Heroic bosses felt much harder in previous adventures.
It is. I went through heroic chapter 1 a few times to unlock all the mage stuff and didn't feel pressured by the bosses once. It reminds me of Karazhan
From watching the preview stream, it appears the heroic difficulty increases as the chapter number increases. I don't think anyone got beyond the 5th boss of heroic chapter 5.
Also, Robes of Gaudiness seem like the best treasure hands down. It's like how everyone had to beat Rumble RUn with the Rogue shrine.

I haven't watched the streams but this is good news. Thanks for the information!
As for Robes part, mana cheating is the most imbalanced part of Hearthstone, and Robes do just that. After playing several runs on different classes, I feel like Expedite (-1 cost on all minions) is coming close second since it allows to just spam the board as long as you have any source of card draw.
I've not got through Heroic... or even unlocked everything. I've only put in maybe 3 hours on it, but so far I think it offers a medial amount of challenge. Fun, but not so hard that you need to look online for ways to beat the system.
I also first tried both heroics with the hunter. Worth noting the 8th boss in the second wing, Cyanigosa, is insane but I beat it simply because he wouldn't stop playing The Skeleton Knight, regardless every other boss was pretty much a joke. Hoping for difficulty increase. So far the difference between the regular mode and heroic mode has, at least for me, been unnoticeable and didn't feel like a difficulty increase at all. I didn't have an insane deck for them either.

You all out here ignoring my man Wondrous Wisdomball?
Also, yeah, the Heroic mode should get way harder as the chapters proceed.
I dunno, I still haven't beaten the heroics. For me, that gradual difficulty curve isn't there. First 4 bosses, no problem, then I get hit with that boss with permanent Choose Both, that one with permanent -2 Attack into huge resurrects, or that one which has the handbuff every turn. I'm just using mage with original hero power since the other two are awful. I haven't been able to get my usual Scepter of Summoning cheese deck, so I'll have to aim for that.
I beat both heroics at the first try with terrible decks. I was really disappointed by the lack of challenge. Lots of terrible IA decisions, bosses not even using its mechanics and unremarcable encounters.

I really Hope Next wings improve.
Maybe to finish a heroic is not so hard but to finish it with all classes is near impossible.
I would love to have some tips because i'm strugling so hard, the final who copy the first card you play and put minions that get stronger when you play spells or copy your spells is way to hard for me, usually go for the third hero power with freeze and usually go for a kind of tempo mage.. Dunno what i'm doing wrong and i don't think i'm that bad, rank 3 every season on ladder i think i'm an ok player..
Yeah, seems easier that the first couple of adventures (Naxx, BRM), but i'm having a hard time with both shaman heroic wings, i've cleared the other 4 quite easily.
I just picked the Dice passive and a bunch of Legendaries and beat it first try as Mage. I do think it's too easy, like almost every recent adventure :/
Theres a few bosses that if you run into them will wipe your face in the dirt. But coming across them with so many different bosses in this adventure is rare, mostly you dont feel pressured but when you run into an OP one it's over quick.
I didnt find it super easy on heroic, maybe because I never got any OP magic items.
I completed chapter 1 heroic with a shaman hero with transform hero power, deck was mostly murlocs, had first turn boom bots and poison immune weapon for big minion removal.
Completed chapter 2 heroic with mage hero with freeze hero power (got the 1 mana hero power 2 use per turn bonus and picked double life item) usually ended the games with antonidas or just freezing his stuff while I hit face with my minions :)
There are some combinations which are just INSANE. I did both chapters on normal and heroic modes using mostly:
a) Hunter
- Locked and Loaded deck - Elixir of Vim passive treasure - any low-cost minion bucket (Tiny Trouble and Overwhelm mostly)
During one run, The Marsh Queen and Crystal Gem passive treasure let me finish my quest always on turn 4 or 5. Result? Every time board control, full hand and always an option to refill empty deck by Queen Carnassa.
b) Shaman
- Refresh hero power - Primal Storms deck - Robes of Gaudiness passive treasure - any high-cost bucket (Legends, Big Shaman and sometimes Battlecry)
Robes of Gaudiness is just too good. Works every time.
... or did I just get lucky?

I think 5th chapter will be some ultrahardcore mode due to 12 bosses instead of 8.

I like that the difficulty of Heroic ramps up somewhat gradually. It's nice to have a variety of challenge levels between beginner and uber-extreme.

I've tried maybe 20 attempts in each chapter failed everything so far. I find heroic to be super challenging.

the reduce cost by 2 is super strong what are you talking about?
