Why on earth do they keep making this card with downsides!?
WHY ON EARTH DOES THIS IRRITATE ME SO MUCH!?!?!!?!?!?!?!??!?!!!!!!?
By the way, if this has anything to do with skewing arena, I would say let it! But at the same time, you could easily just make this card not appear in arena!
Chillwind Yeti is a 4 mana 4/5 and you are saying that if you reduce the mana cost of it, it should only lose 1 stat?
See, this is kinda' the reason why 4/4s for 3 mana REQUIRE a downside. 3/4s are vanilla for 3 mana, 3/3s for 3 has an upside.
Quite simple really...
See, here's the thing: Yeti should be a 5/5!
3/4 is not the base statline for a vanilla 3-drop. Spider Tank? Insane Mech Synergy. Fierce Monkey? It has Taunt! 4/4 for (3) all the way!
nop, 3 mana 3/4 is the line for 3/4 vanilla, the mech tag isn't worth anything ins tats, mech warper can literaly be compared with most other 2 mana cards, and as the case for Fierce Monkey it's been said over and over and over and over and over to the point where repeating this is kinda tiresome: class cards are allowed and encouraged to be stronger than neutral cards.

If you believe wholeheartedly in misconceptions and then have to face them it can get pretty frustrating.

Ok let me try asking this a different way: Would a 3 mana 4/4 be overpowered?
The answer is NO! I mean, Nerubian Prophet is basically that, except it's better than that. Back when we had Ogre Brute, if you attacked and never missed, It still wasn't broken!
But you know what is broken? Mechwarper! This was one of the most broken cards in the game. It was stronger than pre-nerf Knife Juggler.
How can you possibly say that it's comparable to other 2 drops? It's in an entirely different league. Especially if you drew 2 of them! It synergized with itself, and let you ramp extremely hard with no drawback, because even if you didn't get to use it's absurd effect, it was still a 2/3, which is the so-called expected stats for a vanilla 2 drop. (which is also wrong because they should be 3/3.)
In order to have a cool ability, you should be sacrificing something. But if your vanilla minion is 2/3 and one of the most broken abilities in the game is also on a 2/3, there's no balance at all!

Nerubian prophets a terrible topdeck if you don't get it in your opening hand, and it only ever saw play in the extremely niche evo shaman.

3 Mana 4/4 is balanced on a VANILLA minion!

I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."

cause most cards won't seeplay anyway, might as well make some flavourful or niche cards, also some specifically for arena.
