I am by no means am expert in the mirror, but I've been playing a similar deck. Something someone said that's helped me Is that because we're playing Azalina, we actually want to draw faster than our opponent and try to get as much tempo out of our hand as possible. Your goal is to drop your Archivist first, use as much of your hand as you can, and Azalina when you're reasonably confident that they have their Archivist in hand (I usually play Azalina when they have 2 or 3 cards left I'm their deck, though just 1 is obviously ideal- never wait until they are out of cards though, because you will miss Elysiana). The hardest part for me usually is keeping up on the board enough to find time to play my second Elysiana. I usually try to save one shield slam for that turn if I can.

Thx for the answer - unfortunately I inserted the wrong link to my deck, so I put in one with Azalina Soulthief, which is not at part of the deck that I'm using.
Control Warrior player pffff... Nature will rise against you! :-D
Nature might will, but not the Token Droods (my winrate against that deck is near 100 %). Heal druid on the other hand... but I haven't seen that deck in 2 weeks or so.
Don't be afraid to draw card (but milling them of course ^^).
The matchup is most of the time decided by whomever draws Dr Boom early/has more threats your opponent can deal, especially chip damage by early minions (playing Devestator on curve) or when you first Elysiana'd: by big things he cannot remove (used his brawls)

Playing on curve is the opposite of what I've been trying. I'll try that.
I have played quite a lot of Control Warrior mirrors with a very similar deck. The only difference being -1 Ironbeak Owl, +1 Weapons Project.
Unfortunately, this matchup does come down to drawing Dr. Boom, Mad Genius early and (if you opponent plays just as well as you do) whether you or you opponent get better Archivist Elysiana choices. But even then, the most important thing is NOT drawing cards. Try to play Town Crier after you've already drawn your Rush cards. Play Harrison on a turn where they don't have a weapon equipped. Also, when you have a weapon equipped, don't swing with it unless you can override it with a new weapon the same turn. You want them to either play Harrison into your weapon with 3 charges or be forced to hold Harrison in hand as a dead card. Try to never play Shield Block ever.
Try not to waste premium removal, Shield Slam/Omega Devastator on nothing. This is easier said then done due to hand size limits. Not playing Omega Assembly until your hand is REALLY low can help with that. Try to hold Zilliax until you can actually get max heal from it.
Some of the harder, more overlooked tips. Monitor the cards that your opponent has played. If they used all of their AoE cards (Brawl, Warpath), try to pick good fast board generating cards from Archivist Elysiana so they can't clear your board and swarm them. Also, if you get Mecha'thun from any card generation early, Dr. Boom, Mad Genius is equipped, and have Archivist Elysiana in hand. PLAY HER. They will probably know what is going on, but there is nothing they can do to stop it!
So that's all I got. Depending on the rank you're at, just not drawing and making them draw will win you the game in a lot of cases. Good luck!

A little update. I made a decision to cut one Ironbeak Owl for Azalina Soulthief. I have been playing 12 games since and won them all, including a game vs. another control warrior. I used the tactic described above by @serotoninronin.
The two shamans I've been playing aginst didn't realize that my copied version of shudderwock also replayed Azalina Soulthief's battlecry which meant that I had at least 20 more cards than the shaman due to battlecry of Archivist Elysiana. Long but fun games!
20 more cards? I don't know your skills in HS , but your maths suck, sorry mate.
I have never, ever played a game against a Control warrior(bomb are another thing) that I lost( with custom made Shudderwock Shaman). When he used Azalina (and he has used already ELysiana) and I haven't used mine Elysiana or Shudderwock he would get +10 cards from his Elysiana, +10 cards from mine and + 10 cards from Shudderwock afterwards. That's a total of 10 more cards. Azalina's battlecry repeated from Shudderwock means that your opponent(while you have already played Azalina and he knows he holds Shudderwork, was stupid enough not to drop these 2 cards as fast as possible). There is simply no way that he hasn't played one of these cards so late at game, you were apparently playing either against a slowpoke in mind or against a bot.
P.S your copied version of Shudderwock playing Azalina's battlecry would just copy your opponent's hand. FFS, what server are you playing on? Kids' only server?

You’re right. Ofc it’s only 10 more cards! Didn’t get the chance to find out because they both conceded after I played Azalina for the second time.
Btw - How do I find out if my server is a kids only?

If you keep playing with people who don't know how Azalina-Shudderwock work, it's a kids only server :P

I think it is a bit early to make any conclusion based on two players. I'l try to play after bedtime to make the risk of facing young opponents lesser.
Dear fellow Heartphwn-users,
I'm playing this deck:
(edit: wrong link in the first place, replaced with the correct link)
https://hsreplay.net/decks/nmgUIhiP0XabJFHxLwzJvb/#tab=overview
I'm having a "hard time" winning the mirror match-up. Any advice?
I think it is about not drawing cards, get Dr. Boom, Mad Genius asap but what else?
In all other match-ups I'm having a positive winrate (also against Bomb Warrior), but in mirror match-ups it is "only" 4/10 games that I win.
Kind regards,
Pjokie

The correct deck is this one: https://hsreplay.net/decks/nmgUIhiP0XabJFHxLwzJvb/#tab=overview (also in the OP now)
So sorry that I wasted your time - I guess since I'm now using Azalina Soulthief I should either use her or stale the use of cards, right?

Always expect the unexpectable!
Add Mecha'thun combo in your deck and win every control warrior that you face.
Thx m8! :)
Playing on curve is the opposite of what I've been trying. I'll try that.
What combo are we talking about? Mecha'thun, The Boomship, Malygos, Whirlwind and 2 * Inner Rage - and instead of what cards?
Or just 1 * Mecha'thun and 1 * Shield Slam and 10+ armor?
I have played quite a lot of Control Warrior mirrors with a very similar deck. The only difference being -1 Ironbeak Owl, +1 Weapons Project.

It works like a CW, but drawing cards like a crazy.
You can choose to play 2 brawls or 2 Dynomantics and tech a silence against pally and Hunter mechs.
I've reached Legend two months in a row with nearly 100% winrate against warrior.
If you need some tip i can guide you. :)
