I kind of want to try Dragonadin, but I must admit that I'm far short of the necessary dust - not having Ysera, Alexstrasza, or Chillmaw, and only one Twilight Guardian. Unless I get some lucky packs I don't see this happening anytime soon. Which is actually OK since it may or may not be a strong archetype anyway.
But, I do have 1800 dust and Neutral Legendaries are usually good crafting value. Sylvanas is one of the staples, I've had her on my list for a long time now and you can't really go wrong with her. But Justicar Trueheart also looks very solid and offers a lot of variety in a single card because her power is different for every class. Jazzy! She seems quite good too from early reports. I mainly play Paladin and Druid, both of whom seem to get good upgrades from here.
I'm interested in token Silver Hand decks, Murloc Knight (have all Murlocs except only 1xWarleader), Midrange, and Control Paladin. Already have Tirion and most Epics except Coghammer & Mysterious Challenger. Alternately I could just work on filling out my Epics
Justicar seems pretty good right now but keep in mind that the 1/1s and flooding still have the same problems as before (aoe, patrons ect). I don't see too much use of Justicar and many other decks so Sylvanas seems to be generally a good choice, but obviously for more control oriented decks. Justicar has the upside of not being silencable so you get guaranteed value. On the other hand, one less card to bait silence, but you usually want Sylvanas to not get silenced anyway. Murloc Knight works in most Paladin decks without any other Murloc in it thought, so if you want to play it, probably take Justicar. She just makes your deck stronger while Sylvanas is just some random control tool you can maybe make us of sometimes.
I think Justicar Trueheart has now replaced Sylvannus in Control Paladin. However, in midrange Sylvannus is still arguably better. And Sylvannus is better in other decks like Control Warrior, Druid, Priest, and Handlock.
I'm in a similar boat to you. I want to try dragon priest and have the necessary dust to craft the legendaries (still missing some of the epics and rates), but I don't know if I should invest all my dust into one deck
you really have two options you go with some thing that is tried and proven or go out on a limb tbh i would go for Sylvanas Windrunner because it even if it is slightly worse it still aint bad. it is a lot less risky
I would suggest you craft Sylvanas Windrunner simply because I believe that she is much more flexible and can be played simply as a strong minion, Justicar Trueheart requires time and the ability for you to survive for a while for you to get value.
Justicar's hero power is only guaranteed to do things when you're playing Druid, Paladin or Warrior, and only in specific decks. Sylvanis is sort of similar but can be justified to go into more different decks than Justicar.
Why craft something that rarely fits in any deck when you can craft sylvanas and stick her in all control decks? Makes no sense to me. Sylvanas is the second best legendary in the game. Neutral, that is. Justicar is not even on rank 5, why craft him?
Please have some sense and craft sylvanas.
Crafting order is always: Dr. Boom -> Sylvanas -> Ragnaros -> Ysera
OK, so having taken some time to play my Inspire Paladin deck with Murloc Knight, etc... I've come to the conclusion that generating an extra Silver Hand Recruit is only of moderate value. I can already do that with Silver Hand Regent for cheaper and I sometimes run into problems with my board getting full and not having room to drop a big minion or synergy minion like Quartermaster, etc...
So, I think at this time Sylvanas is the better option. Also, in the near future I'll be buying mostly TGT packs rather than Classic, so I may get lucky and actually just open a Justicar.
Thanks for your opinions. And yes, Ysera is pretty high on my list too. It's a stepping stone towards Dragonadin someday as well as just being a generally useful minion. I already have Dr. Boom and Ragnaros so no worries there.

Curious, where do you put Harrison in your "->" list?
My impression is that Harrison bobs up and down depending on how many weapons are in the current meta. Right now, weapons seem popular so Harrison is popular. Eventually weapons go down again because of Harrison, so then he goes down. It's a cycle. So, I generally think of him as a bit lower tier since he's only good some months and not others.
Obvious sylvanas pick is obvious, theres no debate here.
The dilemma im facing right now is whether i craft Justicar or Chillmaw, in other words, midrange pally or dragon pally. I like both decks but im short on dust, also dont have ysera which should be a staple in dragon decks, which you guys think will be better and why?

What would you go with?

I would go with Justicar Trueheart.
Justicar Trueheart is only suitable to certain deck. While Sylvanas Windrunner can fit in more to any other type of deck.

However, I think that Justicar Trueheart is way more fun to play with.
Go figure :<
Well played...

No you craft what you want in your deck.

It comes down to what you want to play. If you NEED 4 epics for a deck, those 4 cards will impact more games than any single legendary.
If it's between the legendaries, Sylvanas is the likely safer bet.
Sylvanas Windrunner hands down. Already tested and proven and in almost as many decks as boom.
Obvious sylvanas pick is obvious, theres no debate here.
