We are Hunters We are Legion We do not forget But we never quit. -- Over a month since the Starving Buzzard over-nerf tragedy, and the 7th ranked play season is about to come to an end.
Share your success stories with Hunter on ladder and the decks you used to try to overcome the nerf crisis and prove that Hunter is not a dead class yet.
You can't harass members who play Face Hunter, nor are they compelled to make preemptive apologies or justifications for playing it. They don't hack or crack their opponents' game, they simply play existing cards that form a specific deck. If you suck at countering Face Hunter, you should blame the designers, not the community.
My version of Facehunter had some preety good win streaks since the nerf, but i still need to play 50-100 more games to get some statistics on win rate and the rank i eventually get stuck on :P ( currently on rank 8 from 27 games played). If i get success with it i will post the final decklist :)
This was the highest I climbed in Legend with Undertaker Hunter this season:
I only had 4 days left on the ladder after I hit legend and 2 of them I didn't even play at all. Overall, I thought I did pretty decent considering this was the second time I've hit legend ever and the last time I hit legend I literally did it with only hours left in the season.
I definitely plan to grind my way back up next season ASAP and play like a machine to achieve my next hurdle. My goal now is top 100 or bust.
I really enjoy the hunter class as a whole and as you can see it's my favorite based on the golden hero so if anyone is looking to collaborate with me on different deck ideas and strategies; feel free to add my battletag. I mainly play WoW so the amount of people on my RealID that competitively play Hearthstone is really barren. Come hit legend with me together next season!!
Sure thing man. I changed up a couple of things though so this list is a little outdated.
-2 Houndmaster -1 flare +2 Unleash The Hounds +1 Timber Wolf
This was mainly to improve my match-up against zoo and shaman plus I also think Unleash The Hounds is really good in the meta now since most people won't expect it and as a result; they don't play around it.
Played a bit more Priest this season, but did have some fun with a modified Pyro/Traps build. Tried Undertaker, got good wins, but I just don't enjoy playing it
Face Hunter is a broken no skill deck. I Easily climbed to rank 3 with it but I stopped playing it cause I feel like turd playing it and people who do play it infuriate me as well. It's such a boring meta zoo, hunter, zoo, hunter. Just stop. Play interesting decks people, not hunter or zoo.

If Hunter can get ahead by 15+ life by turn 5 the game is just over. You "stabilized" at 10? Too bad, you're dead to hero power before you can kill through traps and removal.
i run an aggro hunter without highmanes and double argus in place of houndmaster, and loatheb as the largets creatures. when you run cards like knife juggler, loothoarder, undertaker, mad scientist etc. you actually dont have many beast cards for houndmaster to activate on and it ends up as a 4/3. but argus can buff up anything and turn a mediocre board to a dominating position.
i know this class/deck is basically ebola, but its the fastest way to get through those early ranks
I'm by no means a good player. It's very annoying to play against the same deck over and over again though. I'm stubborn and I don't want to completely switch to a deck I care nothing about (priest and warrior, in particular). I don't really care about how OP the deck is; I just care about how I face it 50% of the time. I played against a personal record 7 hunters in a row the other day (ended up being 8 hunters in 10 games that day).
I like the wording of the original post though, makes me laugh a little haha.

good job keep up the aids, untill there is nothing but op hunters.
than your job is done, thanks hunters you ruined the game!
to every cool story you are posting here i just say:" wow, you are indeed a hero, doing the same fucking shit as every aggro hunter ever!"
gg well played
I am a F2P player with a really limited card pool by comparison to the majority in rank (nothing more satisfying then flattening a player with 4 legs and many epics) and while I would admit I face alot of hunters, netdecking priests, and handlock, hunter is NOT actually OP. Every deck has a weakness.
If you change your deck to be filled with cards with the aim of slowing your opponent down with sunfury, harvest, shieldmaster, cheap removal it is possible to put a hunter on the back foot. In my first season I created a deck with no epic or legendaries that got me to level 8 just because it was anti hunter and anti zoo.

F2P players are not stingy or poor, we are cost efficient.
Playing casually these days (work), always happy to talk strategy and deck building.
Hunter IS OP...and you described why yourself. A deck completely tailored to beat it can win a decent percentage of the time, but Hunter is only 30% (lol only 30%) of the field and you're basically forfeiting against Warrior, Priest, Shaman, etc if you do that.
Also, Hunter and Zoo players at rank 8 at the end of season are probably not very good.

I had a 5 win Hunter quest yesterday so I played all the broken OP cards for 30 minutes and got 60 gold. I didn't feel good about it.

Can u show your deck?
Sheet Hunter
Hunter mid range is still pretty dead. The face rush cancer undertaker is 95% of hunter on the ladder.
I played Hunter before it was cool.

Playing Hunter is kind of like riding a mo-ped...it can be fun but really sucks when your friends start laughing at you...
You guys are really proud that you're ruining the game for everyone else?
Everyone qq'ing about how OP hunter is, kindly bugger off, you have your own threads for that. This thread is FOR hunters.
