I disagree. I think that tracking and flare both serve a very specific purpose. Tracking is important because it allows you to draw exactly what you need to win the game. I think it's a common misconception that tracking should be used on the first turn or just to draw for the sake of it.
This. People often use Tracking whenever they have an extra mana and it's often wasted since there's nothing they need at that moment. The card is best utilized when you need an answer to a threat.

Exactly. I jumped from rank 4 to legend yesterday with my aggro Hunter deck. It includes two tracking, but these were never used on the first turn. I won so many games my top decking tracking, and then being able to choose that Leeroy or that kill command to finish that game, or that ironbeak owl to get over the taunt.
I absolutely agrre on the use of Tracking. Never use it "because there is nothing else to do" (other than Flare versus non-Secret decks).
Still: there is a limited amount of space for 1 drops and Webspinner is kind of draw too, so if you want to use it Tracking and/or Flare has to be cut to a certain amount. I felt very well with one Tracking when I hit Legend with Hunter last time (I also used one Flare). Flare is meta-dependend but will become stonger in a few hours as Secret mage might be strong. So the one/one plus two Webspinners seems fine. If Secrets don't become popular, 2 Tracking and 2 Webspinners might be the right solution. I don't think, that Secrets will ever become so popular, that 2 Flares are needed (in this case one Webspinner could be cut...).
This is my opinion IF Webspinner feels good in the end. If it sucks, well, nothing to discuss on this topic ^^
Flare's main use in my experience is to kill ice blocks. It's just not diverse enough for use in the current meta. But you're right, things might change in the next few hours. I'm very excited as always to see what happens, though I don't know, I personally think that webspinner is just too random.
Absolutely. Hard to say what will happen. I'm stilly very curious how Webspinner feels. The worst thing, that can happen is, that you have an "unplayable" Beast in your hand (statistic says that this won't happen often, Murphy sais it will happen all the time). It has three big strengths:
It is an unconditional 1 drop (if you don't run Leper Gnome).
It gives you options, your opponent can't predict (third Starving Buzzard i.e.).
Tracking reminds me very much of the magic: the gathering card Brainstorm where even though it can be used in the first turn, it should never be used when it's convenient. Only necessary.

Very valid, interesting points. I think I'm being too single minded and not really thinking about control or midrange. I do really look forward to giving web spinner a go.
Thanks! Indeed, I have Midrange Hunter in mind. He might come back!
I am loving Webspinner so far, still running 1x Timber Wolf as well as it's just too strong for UTH combo. Replaced my Stonetusks. So far the spinners have been good. Best yet was turn 1 coin double spinner :D one gave me a river croc for turn 2.. so kind <3
EDIT: As posting the dirty rotten spider gave me a Captains's Parrot :(
It's nice sometimes but most of the times it just sucks. Got 1 game it gave me King Krush but I didn't live till turn 9 to play it. Other times I just just need 1 more dmg to get lethal and it gives me Angry Chicken. I think the best beast to get is the Highmane.

Actually brainstorming first turn is fine, you are only changing the position of the cards anyway, youre not discarding any of them... and you also know whats coming. What was better was brainstorming turn 1, then impulse turn 2 to ditch the crap you had in your hand.
Finally those wepspinners are available and its definitely an amazing addition to the mid range hunter build allowing you to not run out of steam (mainly because it's one more draw for a late game buzzard). I'm really satisfied with this card and even find it better than expected
How many Hunter decks will appear tomorrow with one or more Webspinners?
Any views on which cards to drop to replace in a standard hunter mix as seems hard to swap out any 1 drops.
I will replace Haunted Creeper for Webspinner.
Finnaly I can add King Krush in a deck without using one card slot for it :DDDDDD
Before:
2x Flare
2x Tracking
After:
2x Webspinner
1x Flare, 1x Tracking / 2x Flare / 2x Tracking, depending on meta
The amount of Timber Wolfs already droppend to max. 1 because of Unleash the Hounds nerf.

I'll probably try them out in all three types of my hunter decks for giggles, but remove them when I find they are too RNG dependent.
