So, in general, don't hate the addition of Demon Hunter. I think it was a good idea, happy with the quick nerfs. I still expect a couple more, but we will see.
What I don't understand and I'm hoping there is some WoW flavor reason for this, but why give such a strong tempo punishing class "Mana Burn"? As I write this (literally), they went turn 1 battle fiend, turn 2, hero power, mana burn, and frenzied felwing denying my turn 2. It just feels awful to play against and I just don't see the reasoning for adding this tool to a OTK combo class or an Aggro class.
I think playing it on turn 2 is not the best use for the mana burn. Next turn any aoe is going to wipe the board anyway. If you were playing an aggro deck that relies on early board presence, then it's just an unfortunate start, go next xd
As a mechanic I like the mana burn. I don't think it's that obnoxious. If we wanna talk about fun & interactive let's talk about Res priest...
Everytime I see people complaining about Mana Burn it's because they can't kill Battlefiend + Felwing the next turn. Well, maybe the problem isn't Mana Burn then but Battlefiend which is a 1 drop than snowball very easily (the kind of 1 drop that they nerfed multiple time in the past like Undertaker, Buccaneer, Mana Wyrm)

And how often did this happen to you? This is a best case scenario in combination with a really broken 1 drop...
In wc3 he got manaburn, too. he could burn some mana and deal damage with that. so yeah just like metamorphosis this is some „class identity“-thing.
Honestly every time someone uses Mana burn on me I laugh - it does nothing basicly. 2 mana do nothing.

IMO Mana burn should be Paladin card, like a purifying tech card.
