Hi! Here's my version of Miracle Rouge with Malygos.

Let me clarify specific card decisions and how that should work all together.

UPDATE: This deck changed quite a lot over time to keep/become competitive and consistent (RIP Barnes). Comments concerning cards currently included in the deck can be found below. It is still Work in Progress so more update will be provided soon! Your upvotes surely will encourage me to put even more effort here! :)

Minions

Gadgetzan Auctioneer - crucial card to help you cycle through the deck. Nice to summon at turn 4 if you got backstab, counterfeit coin (or its legal copy given you at the beginning), preparation – ideally continued by 3-cost spell. Actually everything Miracle Rogues love.

Elven Minstrel - IMO one of the best Kobolds Rogue card. Here it helps to draw minions only, providing you board presence in the upcoming turns.

Emperor Thaurissan – his main role is to discount Maly and Sinister Strikes so he should be played on Turn 6 as a last instance. He perfectly fits with Razorpetal Volley

Malygos – main win condition.

Tomb Pillager - Good option to have a nice body on the board, sometimes worth to coin on Turn 3 to get the coin back in the future.

Formerly included minions:

Of course the goal is to get maximum value from our friend Barnes. It is essential to play him in the right moment of the game and he should not always be a 4-turn card – play him only if you really don’t have anything better. However, I tried to keep such decklist to avoid completely garbage outcome (that's why I removed Yogg-Saron, Hope's End which might be tempting as we look at the number of spells in the deck). It is essential to know which minions still hide at the bottom of the deck to plan correctly post-Barnes cards.

So what can sweet Barnesy deliver?

Sherazin, Corpse Flower – probably the best to come up on turn 4 if Barnes is your only hope. 1/1 beta version flower will become standard 5/3 after reviving him and you have to remember that another one is still in your deck - it was removed earlier and I think it could better in the current decklist

Burgly Bully - great fuel for Gadgetzan Auctioneer and instant target for Mage, Druid and Rogue for their passive (2 mana use) - too often caused card burning by opponent's spells abuse.

Loot Hoarder and Mistress of Mixtures should be played early game but in the end they could deliver quite possitive outcome from Barnes - current decklist provides stable card drawing mechanism and managing deathrattles not to overdraw creates problems sometimes.

Ragnaros the Firelord – not the best Barnes target but will do his job well if your enemy has a clear board - without Barnes this card is just too slow.

Spells

Some of them are no-brainers in miracle decks, so I won’t waste your time to read about backstabs or preps. Let me clarify a few other though.

Razorpetal Volley × 1 – one is fairly enough. The best option is to cast it in pair or a turn before Emperor Thaurissan to get 0-cost Razorpetals.

Fan of Knives × 2 – more card draw and sometimes you just need that one dmg. Don’t worry to use this versus one minion or an empty board in heavy control matchup.

Shadow Strike × 2 – helps keeping board control, good preparation target with auctioneer on the board.

Counterfeit Coin x 2 - coins get back to the deck since they are perfect to enable Turn 3 Elven Minstrel & Turn 4 Vilespine Slayer. Other way they just fuel Gadgetzan Auctioneer.

Valeera the Hollow – not a spell actually. 5 more armor, one more turn to prepare lethal, free copy of Sinister Strike, Eviscerate or razorpetal to provide more face damage. It is my favorite Death Knight card, to be honest!

Formerly included spells:

Sap × 1 – most often a late game big threat removal to prepare lethal next turn.

Assassinate × 1 – sometimes shadow strike is not enough so this deck need one hard removal. If you’re lucky enough you can get another one from mimic pod.

Mimic Pod

Overdrawing = cards burning

Obvious, right?

Anyway, you should be really careful with Gadgetzan Auctioneer on the board. This deck is short of minions so one spell casted can lead to another and another and another…

In order to cycle through the deck quickly there are also lots of spells drawing cards itself (or generating them) so if you cast them with Auctioneer be aware of drawing multiple cards at once. Fan of Knives will provide you two cards, Razorpetal Volley will bring you three cards.

Bonus reminder! Valeera the Hollow gives you Shadow Reflection at the beginning of your turn so you should end the previous one with 8 cards maximum. Remember that unless you’re one of the men who want to watch the cards burn.

Some deadly maths

The turn when you are about to drop Malygos, the Essense of Magic, sometimes requires you to do some magical maths.

The most important thing - cards copied by Shadow Reflection have their original cost, so even if you cast 0 mana Eviscerate, the copy will cost 2.
Remember about correct order to prevent copying the wrong card.

With Maly on the board:
Eviscerate - 2 mana / 9 dmg
Sinister Strike - 1 mana / 8 dmg
Razorpetal - 1 mana / 6 dmg
Very rarely... - Shadow Strike - 3 mana / 10 dmg to undamaged enemy hero

Some combos you want to deliver (graphic soon!)

If you enjoyed my guide I will be really thankful for all the feedback and upvotes since it is my first deck shared here!

Korozja
