I don't think maelstrom portal works as the only aoe. It's fine to have it as a complement to bigger aoe, but it doesn't do enough to be useful in most cases. Might be better with lightning storm.
-2 Saronite Chain Gang, -1 Fire Fly; +2 Stonehill Defender, +1 Devolve and it works a lot better.
Stonehill Defender comes out a turn earlier and can get you Saronite Chain Gang, The Lich King, etc. It is a useful tool against Aggro.
The second Devolve works wonders against the 1/5 Taunts from Druids or in general against buffed cards, Murloc Tribal etc.
I'd remove one corsair instead, since the fire fly gives you an extra minion, and the corsair is situational. In 5 games I didn't have any use for them.
This depends on the meta, if you are running into a lot of pirate warriors or that kind of decks, you play 2 of them, if not, you can cut one. The first corsair you play gives you a second minion, too, Patches. If you place your Flametongue Totem the right way, you can use Patches for 3 extra damage out of nothing.
Good call on the Stonehill. I kinda regret crafting two Saronites now, but meh, it's not too bad. I may just craft one Stonehill and run that with one Saronite if necessary ...
I still need patches too. I got a golden Nozdormu recently. I'm really tempted to dust it for Patches.
Edit: I also like two Devolve. Really screws with Spreading Plague Druids.
why do you use jades? i dont feel comfortable with them in this deck. why dont you use master of evolution?
All of the five Jade cards have the benefit of giving us a more or less strong minion in addition to the effect of the card itself. It helps with regaining board control after an opponent used a boardwipe. Nearly half of the deck has this benefit of giving us extra minions, which is, why we can build a huge board early and keep the board control over the course of the game. This is why we can have 7 minions in turn 4 and use Bloodlust on turn 5 for a killing blow. Even if we traded before.
Master of Evolution is just a dead card in your hand after a boardwipe. You don't want too many dead cards in your hand, do you? A single-target Evolve is something that Thrall, Deathseer can do every turn for 2 mana so we can concentrate on cards that are actually giving us a full board that's worth to Evolve.
Aya Blackpaw for Big-Time Racketeer maybe. it will give you 2x 6mana minions to evolve for the same cost
It is going to eat your Evolves too though lol.
As I got Thrall DK in the Prolouge I was thinking about a lineup what would fit him. I tried some different without succes.
Now I saw the jade and pirate packages in this one it was 0minute thinking to give it a try. I have no big game sample. I have faced jade Druid and Taunt Druid. (no other classes... maybe this meta is Druid heavy)
I have easily won them.
So against Druid this is a good deck :D
but...I thought Thrall DK was bad!?!?
Any thoughts on Wild additions to this deck? Not sure if any Wild cards are well suited for evolution or not.

Theres no replacement for Aya in jade decks. If you arent willing to buy Aya, dont craft any Jade cards as theres no point in playign them.
Only 5 jade cards total.
I didn't understand that this is an Aggro deck, that's why I kept losing. Now I know tho, I've started winning more

This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks. I made it this far without crafting patches and I'm not about to give up now.
I like it, played a few normals and crushed my opponent usually before 7th turn.
