Edit: I updated the deck to KFT and it remains mostly unchanged.
Hit Legend Rank 9 with this deck in July 2017. (Proof inside spoiler)
The target of the deck is to flood your board with minions especially recruits and buff them with other cards like Lightfused Stegodon, Quartermaster or Sunkeeper Tarim to overwhelm your opponent. This is a more aggressive list compared to other Recruit Paladins which tend to play more control cards like Stonehill Defender or Aldor Peacekeeper.
The deck can have a very explosive start with the Pirate Package or the other low cost cards. The big advantage of your low mana cards is the fact that later in the game you still have great synergy with other cards like Steward of Darkshire or Sunkeeper Tarim.
The biggest strength of this deck compared to other swarm decks is that you dont have to care as much about AoEs for two reasons. 1st: You often have minions with divine shield. 2nd: You have a lot of ressources to simply refill the board after a clear.
It is important to know that tempo is very important in this deck. For example: To play Lightfused Stegodon without any recruits on board is better than simply hero power on Turn 4.
If you have any further questions about this deck, feel free to ask.
Always possible to Hit Legend with this deck ? I hesitate to craft it
I played the last version of the deck only some games on legend. It was still playable there. As I worte in the description it struggles a little bit with Druids. Nonetheless I don't doubt that it is still viable to climb. Keep in mind that this deck is not the best option, if you meet too many Pirate Warriors.
Which cards are you missing currently? Eventually I can propose some alternatives.

I don't have the most important cards, but I watched a lot of games with this and I would like to play it.
Haunted Creeper and Stand against Darkness can be replaced. I would recommend Knife Juggler, Rallying Blade and Spikeridged Steed. Bonemare is another option instead of Steed which I don't have tested yet.
The other ones are core cards unfortunately. You could replace Tarim with Stone Hill defender and hope for the best with the discover, but I would not recommend it.
I played the deck now to climb from 15 to 12 at the start of the season. It still works pretty good for me.
Thanks for your attention :)
I crafted Tarim yesterday, I'll craft others cards when I'll have dust.
You are welcome. Good luck and have fun with the deck.
You should craft the missing cards in the following order: 2x Muster for Battle, 2x Quartermaster, 2x Shielded Minibot
Vs Priest the MU is slightly favored (I have a win rate of 57% this season vs all priest variations). It is important to keep Equality in the mulligan to have a counter against an early Deathlord. You have to play around the following situations as good as you can:
- Board Clear by Wild Pyromancer
- Haunted Creeper trades with Potion of Madness
Freeze Mage is by far the worst MU for this deck. You have to squeeze out as much damage as you can in the first rounds before the freeze festival begins. Reno Mage on the other hand is a very good MU for this deck in my experience.
This season I switched from Recruit Paladin to Pirate Warrior from Rank 4 to Legend. I met too many Pirate Warriors in this region, which is a slightly unfavored MU for this deck. On Legend I switched back to the Paladin and peaked at Rank 9 yesterday. So in my opinion the deck works really well at the moment.
Vs slower decks Divine Favor is almost a win condition on its own. Or in other words: When you don't draw it you run out of steam too fast. Vs Warlock I even keep it in the starting hand, when I already have a 1 or 2 drop.
Sure there are situations where you really wish you have other cards, especially vs aggro. But getting 2 cards out of it is still fine. In my experience I would not recommend to cut one out. But if you run too often into trouble with 2 copies it is fine if you try Acolyte of Pain as substitute.
I'm loving this deck but I'm thinking one Divine Favor might be enough? i've been in a few situations where i draw both of them or i can only get 1 or 2 cards from them...sometimes no cards against aggro. i realize that's the only draw in the deck. so maybe swap one out for an Acolyte of Pain?
