tl;dr currently a non-conventional Shaman deck; semi-viable for ranked play but crazy & fun! :)

About the deck:

The game plan is simple; draw a lot, watch out for the damage output and heal as necessary...1 or 2 Lava Bursts can be used for removal, and you can use other stuff, but try and rely on AoE to clear big boards instead of removing single targets with Lightning Bolts...Always calculate the highest possible damage you can do, and what you need to save to get it...people are usually not worried if they're around 23-25 Health, and you can easily finish them from there. I usually try and get them to that amount with Spirit Claws, since all minions we play basically require instant removal and don't live that long.

The deck can be frustrating at times, and it's not that easy to play; you must be patient a lot of the time and it can backfire horribly (one of my opponents today played a Dirty Rat and pulled my Malygos - and then Siphon Soul'd it :D), so I wouldn't say it's for people who rage easily - but it's also insanely fun, and a lot of crazy stuff can happen.

I did play it all the way to rank 3 last season, against the onslaught of aggro/midrange/pirate decks as well as Jade and Reno/Control decks, so I think it can work even in high ranks.

Mulligan:

You pretty much always want Spirit Claws, some AoE, Mana Tide Totem and/or Far Sight. Keep Hex if you suspect a massive Edwin VanCleef, Flamewreathed Faceless, Mountain Giant etc.

 Card choices:

AoE - 2x Maelstrom Portal, 2x Lightning Storm and 2x Elemental Destruction

Burst – 2x Lightning Bolt, 2x Lava Shock and 2x Lava Burst

Utility (draw, heal etc.) – 2x Spirit Claws, 2x Far Sight, 2x Hex, 1x Feral Spirit, 1xHealing Wave

Bloodmage Thalnos – honestly, this card is too good to be replaced, you will use it to enable a safe AoE, 3-damage Spirit Claws hit, and if you play it and only cycle it, it's still good.

Mana Tide Totem x2 – probably the easiest card to replace. I've not tested some other cards, because 2x MTT worked very good for me, even as a Barnes result they are fine, and if you manage to get one on the board and pull out a Chromaggus or something, things can get wild :)

Barnes – a key card even if it doesn't pull out a Malygos ftw, it can get you a double Thaurissan discount, a free Ragnaros shot, a clutch Hallazeal heal etc...

Hallazeal the Ascended – a key card against aggro; even against control, as you can let your opponent play a lot of stuff and hurt you until you are barely alive, before healing for much more than 30, and clearing the board in the process.

Emperor Thaurissan – a key card to get your combo pieces discounted.

Justicar Trueheart – Justicar is the only bad result from Barnes, but the ability to put out a spell damage totem, or a taunt totem turn after turn is not to be underestimated.

Chromaggus – Chromaggus works as a bait for their removal, and as an added bonus, if he ever manages to double a card from your deck, it's all high value.

Ragnaros the Firelord – a heavy hitter, good Barnes result, might be replaced with something like Ysera probably without much problems.

Malygos – primary win condition

** Some cards you can include if you don't have Far Sight or something:

Evolved Kobold, Loot Hoarder, Ancestral Knowledge...

EDIT: After the Spirit Claws nerf, cut one for Stormcrack...while Spirit Claws is very important for pushing face damage and setting up lethal, Stormcrack is very useful in removing a pesky Frothing Berserker, Brann Bronzebeard or similar minions, when you don't want to use an AoE.

Huehuehue

Well, the pic above is from my win for rank 7, went on a winstreak from rank 10 I think...there were times I could've lost, but the opponent's either didn't have the luck or didn't have a clue it might be Malygos lurking a turn or two away :)

I'm gonna try and climb a bit more, so if anyone is bored with the meta, and has the necessary (expensive!) cards, have fun; and don't take it hard if you get steamrolled, it happens...I've won multiple times against Jade Druid, Pirate Warrior, Jade Shaman, Aggro Shaman, Renolock, Renomage, Dragon Priest with this! (Gonna be so proud when I get my 500 wins Shaman, tbh :) (around 60 wins away :'D)

P.S. I also use the Jade cardback to try and play mindgames with my opponents ^^

Update 29.03.2017.

-1x Mana Tide Totem, +1 Ancestral Knowledge

Wrath of Air, indeed

Too bad your AoE was lacking

Any Far Sight is a good one if you got  skill luck.
