Hi, this is MarkW, a Hong Kong player in EU.
UPDATE: Swapped a Shadowstep with a Vanish. Been trying this for the past few days, 12-1 (From 1-3 May). Swapped 2 Wolfrider for 2 Argent Horserider, Xaril for Edwin VanCleef
Since 11:30 last night, I've been playing ever since. The trend almost immediately set on C'Thun, and it has been frustrating.
Currently 36-4 (29/04/16)
This is the new solution.
Aggro Rogue was a Top Tier deck during Vanilla. It has always been very explosive with even more burst than the notorious Face Hunter. The downfall of the deck was the increase of Warrior decks and the prevalence of strong Deathrattle minions like Haunted Creeper that trade favorably into your one health minions.
This kind of proactive, consistent decks that punish inconsistencies from other decks. The first few days or weeks you will find a lot of bad slower decks, that frequently stumble if confronted with a high-pressure deck.
Because of the decks high density of 1 mana minions and the very consistent initial high pressure output (you can build a big board rather quickly), you put your opponent on a time constraint. Using removal or a hero power on Pit Snake will put him even further behind. And sometimes your opponent can’t remove the Pit Snake, and is then in a terrible spot.
Why did I choose these cards:
At first, you might look at this card and think it’s bad, because it only has one health and your opponent can just use his hero power and ping it and then it’s gone. Yes of course he can do that, but Aggro Rogue is a blistering fast aggressive deck. Very often your opponent will lose a lot of tempo by using two mana for a hero power. Imagine the following situation: It is turn 5 and you have a Bladed Cultist, Argent Squire and Pit Snake against an empty board of a Druid. He simply can’t play Druid of the Claw, he has to use his hero power in favor of playing a minion. That is a huge tempo loss for the Druid and Pit Snake is even more potent against Classes that don’t have a ping hero power like Shaman. Flamewreathed Faceless will be a very popular card and with Aggro Rogue you not only have Sap as a very powerful answer, you also can have Pit Snake on the board, which the Shaman needs to remove before he can play his 7/7.
Because of the decks high density of 1 mana minions and the very consistent initial high pressure output (you can build a big board rather quickly), you put your opponent on a time constraint. Mulligan:
Generally you keep every one mana minion in your opening hand. With the Coin you can also keep Defias Ringleader or SI:7 Agent. Against weapon based classes you can also keep Cold Blood with Argent Squire.
During the first few turns you want to have board control and try to keep it by making favorable trades. After the early stages of the game, there are two possible scenarios. Your opponent can’t get board control and will simply lose, or he is regaining board control. In the later case you want to start assembling some burst and possibly use some card draw to draw into it. Coldlight Oracle and Shadowstep will help you doing that. A combination of Southsea Deckhand, Wolfrider, Leeroy Jenkins, Cold Blood, Eviscerate and Shadowstep will give you an abundance of possibilities to finish your opponent from a very high lifetotal (15-20+).
Final Notes
At first I did not want to publish this deck because I think it is really strong and I want to finish at a high legend Rank, but after some consideration, I have chosen otherwise. Because the deck is very similar to the old Backspace Aggro Rogue, it is actually rather hard to play. For example cards like Shadowstep and Coldlight Oracle are not easy to use optimally and the opimal usage is different in some matchups and game states. Skill wise there are literally worlds between this deck and something like Aggro Paladin or Aggro Shaman. So when you start playing the deck, don’t expect a lot of miracles, because it will take quite some time to play the deck very well if you are not familar with the old Backspace Aggro Rogue.
King Mukla can be a very good addition to the deck, especially with the nerf to Big Game Hunter. Your opponent can’t feed Mukla with the Bananas and then use BGH. Mukla is very strong against Druid and Control decks. But he is rather bad against other aggressive decks, so I’m not sure.
I think Control Warrior and some sort of Taunt Druid will be rather difficult matchups. ButTaunt Druid has a very high chance to just be a shitty deck. The lack of good card draw, good mass removal, good removal for bigger minions and the lack of any kind of burst make Taunt Druid look rather bad to me. I don’t see this deck sticking around. Of course people will try playing it, and get farmed for several days by Shamans, Control Paladins, Freeze Mages and even Control Warriors.
Every deck architect needs motivation.

I stopped caring how my decks do on this website a long time ago, now I just create them just for fun. I never try to sell them as meta defining or anything. And I generally dont bother commenting on most dekcs, but when I see a deck like this with those ridicoulus stats (36-4) without any proof whatsoever (no videos, no stream, no screenshots, no logs from tracking program) and that same deck performing so badly in the current meta when I play it..., I can't help but feel just a little bit sceptical.
When a deck is on tier 1 on tempostorm I know why it's there. So far everything there has been legend worthy. This deck here is the kind of deck, Kripparian would take out for a spin, play a few games, makes his daily video and then put a disclaimer for people to NOT craft this it if they are on a budget.
Also why is it that If I like this deck, my comment would be normal, sane whatever. But if I dislike it, suddenly I am "craving for attention". Deal with the fact that even if your creation was good, not everyone will like it.
And I guess if you don't like it, there are other decks on hearthpwn awaiting for your criticism.
Gotta be careful criticising this guys deck man, I did the same thing and got warned AND he n his friends went n put like 20 downvotes on ALL of my decks. Just be careful messing with this guy, he doesn't like criticism/bad press, n he'll come right back at you. Smh
I do argue with my critics, but what makes you think I'm interested in bothering you? I want to encourage a healthy and constructive discussion, not profanity and slander.
Check the definitions of "profanity" and "slander" my friend, because I have used neither. I'd rather just 1v1 you than sit here n argue honestly. Btw, why haven't you included any proof of this list winning? With the records you claim you must be able to take this super aggro (cleverly named "anti cthun") rogue to legend.. And that's coming from a 5x legend player.
We can do this all day, MrEm_3, I am not referencing you when I mentioned 'profanity', but I am when I said 'slander'. Your previous claim about me downvoting your deck was neither empirically proven nor have sufficient indication to assume so. I won't mind you moving along if you happen to dislike this deck to this extent, but be rest assured, I will miss you, my first encounter of an egotistical, self-centered and transient global amnesic on hearthpwn.
It's just suspicious that after my comment all of a sudden my decks that were like +10 or whatever are -4, lol, either way it is not "damaging to your reputation" so it still doesn't qualify my friend. Also, relax, now you're the one who is name calling and getting nasty. I just asked for proof of your outstanding performance with this deck bud, why do you get so defensive and start calling me names, lashing out at me personally? I'd appreciate an apology as I have not referred to you in the despicable manner in which you just did me. I did not make this personal, and lose my cool by acting immaturely. Also, how about that 1v1? I'll record it n we can even throw it up on this post if you do well!
Sincerely,
MrEm_3
I honestly just want proof of his good results man, is that way out of line to ask for? Also, I got a bit tilted when I criticized him (without using any sort of profane language or the type of insults he just spewed at me) and not only did I get popped with a warning, but I also lost every single up-vote on my decks and then some. Just made me a little mad is all, but at least I can control myself and not call people hurtful names/use harsh language.
homie, your decks probably went to -4 because they were bad.
"Imagine the following situation: It is turn 5 and you have a Bladed Cultist, Argent Squire and Pit Snake against an empty board of a Druid. "
I have an easier time imagining Im the President of the United States than this. How the fuck are you playing this deck vs C'thun Druid with their swipes, innervates, 2/3s, 3/4s, 4/10s and end up with that board state. It's like reading fanfiction. And dont get me started on how bad this deck is vs shaman and zoo...you know - the actual anti-C'thun decks.
Try it out, and maybe read the guide, I believe I've explained thoroughly. Continuing with your theoretical scenario, with all their 2/3s, 3/4s and 4/10s, anything you put on the board, he will trade with them without a doubt, even to damage his tempo by using his hero power killing your 1-hp minions. When he has cleared everything, with his full board, that's when Vanish comes in. He can only place 2-3 minions max a turn, this will buy you a lot of time to take him down.
Reading your comment is like cheap fan-fiction, with profanities and imaginative blanket statements.
I never criticise a deck If I haven't tried it out. And by trying it out, I mean playing at least 10 games. You advertise this deck as "anti-C'thun" so I wont even go into detail about how bad this deck is versus shaman or zoo. But at least it should be good vs C'thun decks...like the priest that have holy novas and cabals and healing for 10....or the druids that have swipes, wraths and innervates.
And why would Druid just blindly trade into weak minions. If they have a big taunt and you dont have sap - you lose. If you spam the board and they have swipe - you lose. If they play Living Roots on turn one and you have are 1 hp minions - you lose. This deck is not ultra bad, but so far the way I win is if the opponent has a bad hand.
But hey...you can easily prove me wrong. WIth a couple of gameplay videos, or maybe even a stream.
I've tested this deck and must say that it goes out of steam very fast if enemy plays aoe spells and minions.
Perhaps u should consider Argent Horserider instead of Wolfrider and consider adding Edwin VanCleef , Shadow Strike and even Fjola Lightbane as viable replacements for another cards. This cards are solid and worked very well for me.
Also i would recommend to find some use for Sir Finley Mrrgglton.
What i love most in this deck its Vanish combo with your charge minions. There was some situations when i had 8+++ damage to face from it.
Great deck, but it can be better!
I'm personally trying a prep and sprint, in place of double coldlight oracle. I'll put it on the website if it works out, solves the problem of draws though.
I think prep+sprint slows every deck. Actually ill try to improve this deck myself with more 1-drops and activators for combos instead of draw. Just because its easier and doesnt need special conditions. What the point to seek for solution of draw problem if u can make this deck faster and cheaper?
Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad that I can now share a more successful version of the deck.
Miracle rogue easily beats C'thun Druids
This deck is pure shit - there isn't enough umph in here to deal with all the taunts in the game right now. Just went from rank 10 to 17 trying to play this. Gets shit on by everything out there right now.
Hi Mark! Great deck, one question. What are your reasons for excluding buccaneer?
