First of all, don't be afraid by the cost of the deck. Those are the cards I used but a lot (almost all) legendary are not even needed.
What you really need to make this a cake walk is:
Shadow Word: Death: Try to get this in your opening hand, since Rafaam summon mostly 5+ attack minion on his turn, this is the most useful card you'll need.
Entomb: This card is just amazing since Rafaam will summon OP minions at 3 turn interval. If you SW:D the first one, you can entomb the second one no problem and use it later.
Lightbomb: Great board clear since a lot of his minions got more attack than HP, while our dragons survive the attack
Mind Control: Also amazing, to steal his big minion, no problem with them after.
For the rest of the card, I took the Wyrmrest Agent and Twilight Guardian and others dragon for the cheap taunt. Since you always get your Hero Power replace, it's kinda useless to play around it.
Oh yeah i might mention the resurrects were kinda useless.
such a bullshit, never ever get to attack him, cheats his way through every time, you cant even harm him
got to harm him still taking me out with those op cards of 10 mana, no way this boss can be defeated unles you hit the motherlode of luck, shame on you blizzard heroics become more an more frustrating and rng

So please stop whining about RNG and learn how to play.
Each minion he spawns is literally RNG, between portals and the 10/10s. Then you have the RNG for mulligans, this heroic just isn't fun.
I feel you man, it was hard on normal with this deck, figure out how it is on heroic :(

Beat on 3rd try with these modifications, Big Game Hunter, Antique Healbot really work well. Chromaggus sealed the the game by duplicating Holy Nova & Lightbomb

Got incredibly lucky, the discover gave me 3x Confessor Paletress, after that I got board control quickly, and Mind Control on his Sun Raider Phaerix. Drew Alexstrasza next turn.
Thanks, nice deck, 5 tries. It looked hopeless when I won, I used the artifact that gave us spells when I had Confessor out, and I was looking forward to all the Legendaries...then he wiped me with Flamestrike...and later I had a board with KT and he used twisting nether. The deck kept on trucking on though!
Nice little tip - If you run Fel Reaver, because of the "playing a card" hurts you. He will mark it with HIS give a minion 10/10!!! Easiest win ever for me
Mind Control won the game for me!
Removed both Resurrects and the Auchenai Soulpriest, as well as the legendaries I didn't have: Vol'jin and Confessor Paletress. Added one Big Game Hunter, one Faceless Manipulator, one Mind Control Tech, and two Sludge Belchers. Won after about a dozen attempts (two of which were close). The Faceless Manipulator was, as many people have said, particularly useful.
On turn four of my winning game I managed to use Ysera's Tear to gain eight mana. I used Faceless Manipulator on his Arcaedas (the one that turns a random enemy minion into a 0/2 statue) before promptly killing his Arcaedas with Shadow Word: Death. That really pulled me ahead and cemented my eventual victory. Arcaedas kept turning his new minions into stone. I realized that his old statues were still potential targets for his "turn a random enemy minion into a 0/2 statue" ability, so I started killing off the statues where possible, which was quite easy. Finally Rafaam got another Arcaedas, which turned my Arcaedas into a statue, but I had Mind Control and 10 mana by that point so it wasn't a problem!
Great stuff, I subbed doomsayer for missing lightbombs. He put +10+10 on one of the bosses and it got mind controlled. GG!
Garbage
Didn't have the Paletress, Voljin, Twilight Guardians or Ysera. Replaced with 2 Big Game Hunters, Sylvannas, and Shadow Madness. Used the 4 mana crystal artifact to get out Sylvanas early and was able to take out one of his minions and then steal the big one. That really helped early game. It went smoothly after that.
Don't know how the heck it goes smoothly after that. Even with a baller mind control with pulling a +4 mana card from rummaging he can still wipe the board right before summoning his next minion before 10 mana for next mind control. Smooth indeed.
I got it 2nd try. The discover 3 of the same minion spell gave me Voljin. Rafaam decided to make a bunch of 10+ health minions and therefore I had 3x 10+ health Vol'jins. Made for a very one sided fight. Thanks for the deck list.
