Hi, my name is ShinyHeal , an italian player in EU server . My favorite class is priest and this is my new build for reach rank 1 very fast in season 18. I reached ,using this deck in my rotation , Legend Rank in season 19 in only 4 days , LEGEND EASY .
This is my facebook page , support me with a like ^^ .
Mulligan Guide:
Notice that you generally do not want to keep the combo pieces in hand, only against aggro you want divine spirit for tank-up your taunt. You'd rather get your draw engine going and your absolute early game board control .
Always Keep: Twilight Whelp , Northshire Cleric, Wyrmrest agent .
Keep against aggro decks :
Divine Spirit if you already have in hand Wyrmrest Agent or Twilight Guardian .
I REACHED LEGEND IN SEASON 19 IN 4 DAY WITH 2X LIGHTBOMB INSTEAD OF 2XHOLY NOVA
LEGEND PROOF
I agree with the theory that power word shield is not a keeper as well, since in early game you want to aim on getting a tempo advantage, and the best way of doing this is playing a minion every turn. It is a slower way of using your mana and there is no guarantee that you will have time and a minion on the board to play it on, which will just leave you with a dead card in your hand.
Matchups:
Hunter/Aggro Warlock: EASY You have way too many early drops, too many taunts, and the absolute power of Holy Nova.
"Infernity" Secret Paladin : EASY Your minions have so much value. Sometimes it's better to just not crack any secrets, but to set up a better board first, which will make your diffusion process easier.
Midrange Paladin : Medium , Hard if your opponent runs 2x equality . You'll be able to utilize your buffs, hero power, and taunts to make favorable trades that pull you ahead.
Shaman : Easy Overload isn't bad, it's just poorly implemented. The effects you get from overloading yourself are not worth the mana you pay when you consider the overload cost. On top of that the mechanic itself is just super clunky because of a few reasons.
Control Warrior : Medium You have the time to found the combo pieces and kill him ! Pay attention to minions , cursed brawls !
Patron Warrior : I cannot claim that this deck has an edge over patron warrior. It is the number 1 deck out there after all. it requires a lot of draws for it to combo effectively against you. So there is always a chance of beating a patron warrior. Chilmaw for Chromaggus and lightbomb for holy nova if you lose several times it CAN Be helpful .
Handlock : HARD Keep shadow word death for giants and pray the light to kill him fast .
Druid : Medium Try to take control in early game with any minions you have and it will become really complicated for Druid to get back on the board. In late game the combo shines .
Mech/Tempo Mage : Easy Against the first your minions are better and against the second if you play around secrets is easy .
Freeze Mage : You wanna know the real counter to freeze mage? Hope they don't get the cards they need before they die. You can not set up a defense for a Mage that's intent on doing nothing but casting on your face, you just have to kill them first.
What to Replace
Crazed Alchemist for Vol'Jin
Paletress for Ysera
Chilmaw for Chromaggus
Nefarian for ysera
Sylvanas for Vol'Jin
Lightbomb for Holy nova

Sorry for my bad english , i did my best .
You boys just like to vote down or bash without giving more thoughts right.
This is an inner fire deck. Educate me why not
That's probably just a by product of it being a dragon deck. It's a standard dragon priest deck with 2 Velen's chosen swapped for inner fires and 1 light bomb and 1 big dragon switched for 2x divine spirit. I wouldn't be too hard on the guy when he said he made the deck just because blizzard made a super obvious dragon deck core.
So the biggest diference from "old" DP is the lack of Velens Chosen for the combo pieces.
Seems to fix DP's lack of burst, but instead it loses the awesome board control tools of Velens Chosen. Looks to be worth testing
Looks pretty different from a lot of different decks. However, I refuse to give upvotes for a guide. Upvotes should be as a result of a guide.
I understand what you're saying but I think upvotes should be somewhat contingent on investment. My most upvoted deck is only at 27 votes yet the vast majority of my decks have detailed descriptions. Front page decks should have a mixture of being an effective deck and having an explanation so that people can properly understand how to use them.
He said rank 1. Why would he post legend proof if he never claimed to hit legend?
this deck is copy ''flies away''
Super inconsistent. 3/5 games my hand is full of 4-5 drops and I just lose to aggro. Though against other control decks, it works miracles
trying this around rank 1k legend, replaced voljin with a crazed alchemist because i dont have him
Forgive my skepticism but... what made you think that Crazed Alchemist and Vol'jin performed a similar function? Was this just a combo consistency choice or are you bsing us about the legend rank? Lightbomb or Sylvanas Windrunner would have been the more obvious choices.
Not trying to be rude, but I am genuinely curious. I know quite a few legend players (myself among them) and I'm not sure any of them would have made that swap. People who are different interest me. That is the only reason for my combined skepticism and curiosity.
Crazed Alchemist is an under-appreciated card. My buddy has a deck built with Voidcaller ---> Jaraxxus ---> 15 face damage using Alchemist. I have a gold priest and currently play in the Legend rank. This switch doesn't merit the criticism you are giving him. By implying Crazed Alchemist needs to fit the function of Vol'jin, you are saying that (1) Vol'jin belongs in this deck and (2) creativity cannot improve this deck. Both are opinions. His choice could be much better than it sounds, but I doubt you tried it before you post saying how stupid his choice it :P
check my druid deck if you want legend rank proof, if you care that much :P, i play every class and have a lot of experience in the legend ladder. crazed alch has won me a few games since i put him in, probably as many as voljin wouldve won, and has proven useful in countless. there are a lot of high health low attack minions out there (twi guardian, twi drake etc) that i run into a lot. handlock and dragon priest and rampant, and as you mentioned the card provides more combo consistency, but you should also remember that cards dont have to serve the "same purpose" if you replace them. Sylv and lightbomb are okay choices, yes, and if youre struggling with patron or secret then maybe putting in a lightbomb would help...but the theme of this deck is health swap. Crazed alch fills that role nicely, its a personal tech card that im running and it has been successful!
Ok, cool. That explains it then, and thank you for answering.
Substitute for Vol'Jin? Great deck btw
Ive seen a similar list only to find that he used confuse as a finisher instead of a 2 card combo
Get tired of seeing posts from people who don't include proof on anything
Check out my deck Dragon Lord Velen deck then. People don't want a full write up like what i did for it. They want some deck that will "get them to legend quick and easy"
hearthpwn top rated decks are just commercials for the players. Some are more interesting than others, but not a damn one of them actually tells you how to use the product. Some don't even tell you what it does.
I'll leave this here if it interests you.
Not working at all. could see it working if you get the combo pieces. If. Until you get em is a watered down dragon deck, just bleh until you get a spirit and inner fire which for me has just not been happening
I would love to play this deck, but I'm not sure how to play it. And atm. I'm rank 4 so I'm afraid to experiement to much without knowing mulligans etc.
My guess would be similar mulligans to playing a Normal Dragon deck, I couldn't see a reason to hold on to combo pieces from first turn on, unless you don't feel confident in getting it early enough to make a difference, like against aggro
