Hi, my name is ShinyHeal , an italian player in EU server . My favorite class is priest and this is my new build for reach rank 1 very fast in season 18. I reached ,using this deck in my rotation , Legend Rank in season 19 in only 4 days , LEGEND EASY .
This is my facebook page , support me with a like ^^ .
Mulligan Guide:
Notice that you generally do not want to keep the combo pieces in hand, only against aggro you want divine spirit for tank-up your taunt. You'd rather get your draw engine going and your absolute early game board control .
Always Keep: Twilight Whelp , Northshire Cleric, Wyrmrest agent .
Keep against aggro decks :
Divine Spirit if you already have in hand Wyrmrest Agent or Twilight Guardian .
I REACHED LEGEND IN SEASON 19 IN 4 DAY WITH 2X LIGHTBOMB INSTEAD OF 2XHOLY NOVA
LEGEND PROOF
I agree with the theory that power word shield is not a keeper as well, since in early game you want to aim on getting a tempo advantage, and the best way of doing this is playing a minion every turn. It is a slower way of using your mana and there is no guarantee that you will have time and a minion on the board to play it on, which will just leave you with a dead card in your hand.
Matchups:
Hunter/Aggro Warlock: EASY You have way too many early drops, too many taunts, and the absolute power of Holy Nova.
"Infernity" Secret Paladin : EASY Your minions have so much value. Sometimes it's better to just not crack any secrets, but to set up a better board first, which will make your diffusion process easier.
Midrange Paladin : Medium , Hard if your opponent runs 2x equality . You'll be able to utilize your buffs, hero power, and taunts to make favorable trades that pull you ahead.
Shaman : Easy Overload isn't bad, it's just poorly implemented. The effects you get from overloading yourself are not worth the mana you pay when you consider the overload cost. On top of that the mechanic itself is just super clunky because of a few reasons.
Control Warrior : Medium You have the time to found the combo pieces and kill him ! Pay attention to minions , cursed brawls !
Patron Warrior : I cannot claim that this deck has an edge over patron warrior. It is the number 1 deck out there after all. it requires a lot of draws for it to combo effectively against you. So there is always a chance of beating a patron warrior. Chilmaw for Chromaggus and lightbomb for holy nova if you lose several times it CAN Be helpful .
Handlock : HARD Keep shadow word death for giants and pray the light to kill him fast .
Druid : Medium Try to take control in early game with any minions you have and it will become really complicated for Druid to get back on the board. In late game the combo shines .
Mech/Tempo Mage : Easy Against the first your minions are better and against the second if you play around secrets is easy .
Freeze Mage : You wanna know the real counter to freeze mage? Hope they don't get the cards they need before they die. You can not set up a defense for a Mage that's intent on doing nothing but casting on your face, you just have to kill them first.
What to Replace
Crazed Alchemist for Vol'Jin
Paletress for Ysera
Chilmaw for Chromaggus
Nefarian for ysera
Sylvanas for Vol'Jin
Lightbomb for Holy nova

Sorry for my bad english , i did my best .
Looks good.
Nice one, if not silenced you could overbuff a minion and dealing a killing blow in one, or two turns!
that would change the nature of the deck although it could work better. the point of divine spirit is to hit for like like 12-30 damage with a single minion. velen's chosen is used more for trading
just pulled off a turn 5 lethal by double divine spirit then inner fire on a twilight guardian and I had a twilight welp on the board
Did just that with great success. Most of the time people play around dark cultists, so the HP buff rarely goes off. The twins are significant threats, so I've had people burn all sorts of early removal on them along with having a couple late game wins because of Fiola's divine shield after buffing to prep lethal. They seriously increase the longevity of later game threats that almost always require a hard removal (Chrom and Ysera). I like them.
forcing them to play around it can also be good advantage for you, worst case it's a 3/4 just like the sisters
Just got destroyed by this deck on ladder 24/24 Ysera, gonna check it out lol seems like fun!
Er... it's almost identical to the other dragon decks that already exist here & elsewhere. Minus a card here & plus a card there are the usual tweaks already described in their guides (which in a way just mention the obvious).
How is that identical? So 2x inner fire + 2x divine spirit is "few" cards?
Out of all 30 cards and possible changes to them, anyone who can just browse through the TGT dragon Priest decks here & elsewhere will easily understand what "identical" means.
I am not insinuating it is deliberate, but deck "plagiarism"/copying is literally everywhere in all Hearthstone sites and streams, with many people presenting it as their own when in fact it is not.
Have you seen an inner fire dragon deck though? I know I didnt.
So what you're saying is that including Inner Fires into one of these: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/priest?filter-search=dragon&filter-deck-tag=4 (just on this site, and I'm not even linking the others) makes a WHOLE new deck? Ok, wait, I'll just take a Midrange Hunter, add let's say Bestial Wrath or Scavenging Hyena or even King Mukla (slight tweaks I'm already using, by the way) and I'll call it "new & original"...
It's definately has a combo finisher, when it was midrangey at most.
It's not a new deck per si, but youre certainly gonna be surprised in ladder facing one of them. even your awesome king mukkla hunter will get the gasps from people, master player.
Fairly certain he didn't scream "new & original" at any point in his description. I played the standard Dragon Priest for the past two seasons and I can say this deck is most certainly different in regards to its win condition. I understand folks need to troll/whine, but cut the guy some slack. Your Midrange hunter argument is foolish. Changing 4 cards can completely alter a deck's win condition. For instance, adding 2 leper gnomes and 2 arcane golems in a midrange hunter changes it to hybrid.
We are playing with 30 card decks, 4/30 is substantial enough to affect how any deck plays.
I see your point and you are correct in saying he didn't claim any originality, but that's exactly my point... besides that, it can be true that the deck's win condition can change on just 2 or 4 cards, but that would mean there is just one win condition here, which is certainly not the case as in other decks (like one-turn-kills etc). This deck relies on every card working together, and the overwhelming majority of the cards is, as you would expect, the same with the other dragon decks. If people prefer this to others, then more power to them, and I can respect the slight differences, but it's good to have the wider picture in mind.
The point of deck sites like these is not for every individual to be able to come up with some sort of entirely new deck archetype. Some cards are going to be better than others in certain classes, and certain combinations of cards are going to be better than others for each class. Hearthstone simply doesn't have a large enough card pool for each individual to create a totally unique deck which is also competitively viable. Therefore it stands to reason that "new" decks on sites like Hearthpwn are really variants of existing archetypes which may or may not be more powerful than the previous version due to a few unique card choices. It's a refinement process, not a cluster of unrefined yet original ideas.
Unfortunately, because of the nature of Hearthpwn's community, most "original" decks which either like refinement or simply lack competitive viability get downvoted and ignored rather than refined because the average user wants to find the next easy way to get to legend. They are most certainly not looking to put effort into something that might not even give them a return on investment.
Not disagreeing with the fact that this deck is not all that original in the majority of its card choices. However, for a competitve, highly rated deck on this site, it is pretty unique in finding a whole new win-con which is viable which did not exist in previous variants.
Excellent post, and I thank you for taking the time to write it. I agree with everything, and I understand that the room for originality is small, like for example in today's music. What I wanted to highlight is the very common case where not everyone just netdecks (which in itself is the graveyard of originality and a major boredom factor of the game), but sometimes also presents already existing or very slightly tweaked decks as their own.
I am totally fine with tweaked deck ideas being put on the table, as long as the slight tweaks from already existing archetypes are explained in a disclaimer, which should be enough to remind other players that the so-called "deck creators" didn't reinvent the wheel, nor they deserve big kudos for any Nobel prize winning ideas.
What about bolf ramshield in this deck?
lmaoo
Please tell me you're joking.
