Soooo, the last few BRM cards were released yesterday, so I decided to make a deck that would somehow still look like the old Paladin decklists post-GvG but with some new toys.
Card Explanations:
Knife Juggler - almost a Paladin staple because of its combo with making dudes
Shielded Minibot - great card early game that requires at least two hits
Muster for Battle - a very good GvG card that is an auto-include in most decks because of its versatility. You could either trade the guys off for some "died this turn" combos, or buff them for immediate board control
Quartermaster - dude buffer, pretty good if you don't want to kill your guys yet
Aldor Peacekeeper - good for taming huge cards or maybe just to make trading easier
Consecration - Paladin staple for board clear
Equality - helps in board clear. Only one copy is included because having two in hand is clunky
Truesilver Champion - great weapon for board advantage and emergency healing
Lay on Hands - heal and draw cards for recovery purposes
Tirion Fordring - why not this is the real boss
Sylvanas Windrunner - great control card for almost every deck
Dr. Boom - just because. And the Boom Bots offer extra synergy with the "died this turn" mechanic
Sludge Belcher - one of the best taunts in the game, and it needs to die twice to be fully removed from the board
Loatheb - I feel like Paladin dies to Oil Rogue most of the time because Oil is all about burst plays, so we need an anti-burst. Harrison Jones could be here instead if you want
Cult Master - great card for drawing. Could be combo'ed with the new "died this turn" cards for more value
Emperor Thaurissan - a nice new addition to the club, he offers insane value right after putting him down
Bolvar Fordragon - synergy with the dying mechanic, also baits out a silence/Big Game Hunter/Rend Blackhand
Hungry Dragon - a new solid 4-drop. Watch out though for the drawback
Volcanic Drake - could possibly be played for free after doing some trading with your guys
Solemn Vigil - gives Paladin the additional card draw. Could possibly be free if timed right. Only one copy is here because two copies might not be good especially if they're not timed properly.
Sideboard:
The Tech circle (The Black Knight, Harrison Jones, Mind Control Tech, Big Game Hunter, Kezan Mystic, Ironbeak Owl) could be used depending on the meta. Possible slots could be Loatheb, Cult Master, Bolvar, and Drake #2
Zombie Chow is a great card to include, but there was no space for him =((
Kel'Thuzad could also be a cool addition to the deck
We'll see who's better: Piloted Shredder or Hungry Dragon.
Prepare for the BRM meta. Have fun!
