Here's a control lock that gains over 112 armor, then watch them bleed with 12 Curses of Agony!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
vs Agro - mulligan for removal. Survive to turn 8 and then watch them cry as you gain armor with Mo'arg Forgefiend & heal with Enhanced Dreadlord.
vs OTK - ditch your removal and draw to find the combo pieces to out-armor their OTK. Full combo = full board (Wicked Shipment)+ Tamsin Roame +Tamsin's Phylactery (Mo'arg Forgefiend) and get up to 112 armor. You need 100+ vs bolner or OwlTK & 50+ vs other OTKs
vs Tempo - use your Tamsin Roame for removal if needed.
vs Pally - keep their board clear and curse them after Libram of Hope.
vs freeze shaman - keep the minion count low.
vs another curse deck - keep your hand at 10 cards when scared.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you feel safe or after Kazakusan fill up their deck with Curse of Agony. To get 12 use Tamsin Roame +2 Curse of Agony.
6 agonies does 21 dmg. 12 does 78 damage and they know the timer is ticking. :D
The deck is amazing vs OTK & agro. Leave me suggestions to help vs Kazakusan.

Flex card is Shadow Council. It's there to help with decks that don't cast minions. But if you want 18 Curses of Agony then add Faceless Manipulator- for a very satisfying overkill. Enjoy!
Having lots of trouble with Priest, especially Quest Priest. What do you do there? Hard mulligan for Shadow Council and play it ASAP to get board presence? The matchup seems virtually unwinnable.
It's stupid how often quest priest shows up when I play this deck. There shouldn't be this many! Blizzard is onto us. lol. Ya that's why I added Shadow Council - for hope. I play Shadow Council to change my removal spells into big statted demons. Shadow Council also helps vs decks that don't cast minions. So that you can change your useless removal cards into something useful.
The question of when to use Shadow Council is no easy answer. It depends on what's in your hand. If you'd rather trade it all - go for it. If you have time to use what's good and trade it later - then check it out later. The demons' cost anywhere from 1-13. (and 10% are bad). But if you don't want what's in your hand then they will help put on pressure before your turn 8 swing turns. (late game you can trade your armor vendors and weak cards into something too).
I was trying something similar but didn't think it was a good idea to include Archwitch Willow. Was a little bit desperate so I tried... and it works very well, thank you so much!
In my opinion you absolutely need to put Altar of Fire in the deck. It gave me a lot of wins against Kazakusan.
I like Altar too, but sadly still having lots of trouble even after milling them for 6 after Kaz because they still have the upper hand through Moonlight Guidance to discover/play potentially two copies of one of the cards placed by Kaz, and Solar Eclipse to double cast one of those cards. Not to mention the other grip of cards they're holding by this point, such as a couple max mana Resizing Pouches.
My old version (before the miniset) had Altar of Fires instead of Curse of Agony. But having both is tricky - what do you take out??? Altars are sweet only vs Kazakusan, but useless vs hyper aggro.
Hi !
If you're still around :)
I don't play the small minions (mules, thalnos) and the abominable lieutenant. I sometimes use Armor vendor, though. I also don't use shadow council because I almost never find myself in a position when I need to play it.
I put Mutanus in the deck. Against quest priest you can put them in a difficult situation if you have mutanus and altar + agony in hand when they are close to complete their quest.
Having Altar and Curse is not a problem. Yes they are mostly dead cards against aggro but as a control deck you're favored against every aggro decks that focus on minions.
As you probabky know, the main problems are:
1) Aggro decks that rely on damage spells, first of all Quest hunter and Burn shaman. The key is to trigger the armor combo, and it works quite often against shaman because it's not so fast, more rarely against quest hunter.
2) Kazakusan, and yes removing 6 of his cards is often not enough. But doing that + armor combo seems to be the only chance to win.
I try to climb with this deck again this month but it seems hopeless. Too many kazakusan druids and my win rate against them is very low.
Glad to hear this deck has spread wings. I'll have to give your suggestions a try. :) Thanks for sharing.
Glad you're liking it! I just haven't figured out why 10/16 of my last matchups are vs Druid with this deck. (and only with this deck).
I changed one Entitled Customer for Silas Darkmoon and it has given me good results
nice deck
