UPDATE 5/13/20 Below

Hello everyone!  Here's another meme idea for Recruit Warrior.  PLEASE CRAFT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!  This deck is nowhere near decent yet.  Check out my old BIG Warrior FUN!!! list for some deck explanation.  I may add more notes later if this deck stays interesting.  Trying out some new cards here....

I also like Warpath, Execute, Witchwood Grizzly, Damaged Stegotron.

Let me know if you have any ideas.  Good Luck!!

UPDATE - 5/7/20

- Shield Slam, - Corsair Cache, - Bladestorm, - Bulwark of Azzinoth, - Livewire Lance, - Blood Razor, - Mountain Giant

+2 Sword and Boards, +2 Warpaths, + Zilliax, + Armagedillo, + Evasive Drakonid

Made some changes here....trying some things out.  I believe some of these changes are correct and others, well I'm just trying them out.  I'll explain some of them below:

Subtractions:

Corsair Cache this card feels good, but I'm not sure how many weapons you should run with it.  I did remove a few weapons, so I took out one Corsair Cache.  At times, it's a dead card.  Don't need two of those here.

Bladestorm continues to impress me, but I'm not sure two are necessary.  Dropped it to one for now.  It's nice when it takes out a lot of high health minions just because they all have the same health.  Even getting one or two big minions with this card feels good.  Think targetless minions, 12-health dragons, etc.  (assuming there aren't any tokens on the board)

Bulwark of Azzinoth has been underwhelming.  Don't craft it.  It's good in certain situations imo.

Livewire Lance feels pretty good.  I might put it back in.  I just ran out of room.  It's the 31st card, but Corsair Cache makes it better.

Blood Razor doesn't feel great to me in this meta.  Plus, we have a few other cards to do AoE damage.

Mountain Giant didn't feel great either.  I wasn't getting great value, or i couldn't play it when I had value because my health was too low.  It needed to be a taunt, basically.

Additions and Explanations:

Sword and Board is pretty good right now...especially against Demon Hunters, etc.  Good early keep usually.

Dead Man's Hand - not sure about this one.  I only have one, but I don't think I would need two.  I mean you could.  I do think one is nice in case you draw all your big minions (which makes the Woecleaver and Dimensional Rippers useless.)

Warpath - I mean, this card is still good right?  It's better than Bladestorm, imo.  Get those murlocs!

Archmage Vargoth - I like this one because of it's synergy with two cards.  On turn 10, you can play it with Gather Your Party.  Also, it's nice when Dimensional Ripper pulls it.  (And, Gather Your Party can pull it as well....so really three synergies here.)

Kargath Bladefist - this card is great, imo.   Sooooooo good.  Get it....if you're into Control Warrior type decks.  Getting two copies of Kargath Prime is nice!!!!  I usually keep this one in the mulligan.

Brawl - Two is a must.  Period.  (Use them wisely against priest and control decks.  Wait as long as you can.  Try to copy them with Dead Man's Hand first so you can get as many Brawls as you can.  Sometimes you can run those Big Priests and Control Decks out of gas.)

Plague of Wrath - I think one is good.  Often it feels like a dead card, but i can see it being good with Warpath or even Bladestorm.

Zilliax - I'm testing the theory that this is still a good card in a big minion deck like this.

Armagedillo - This card feels good, not great.  But it can high roll.  Getting two with Dimensional Ripper feels good assuming you have a few taunts in your hand.  I think this card belongs.  Often you get two or more of them out in one game.

Bonechewer Vanguard - I think this card is great.  I need to get better at using this one.  It works great with Warpath and sometimes even Bladestorm.

Scrapyard Colossus - Feels great.  It just seems to give people problems.  It is a little pricey, but recruiting him is so worth it.

That's it for now.  I haven't played too many games yet....and there are quite a few rough matchups right now. Let me know if you have any ideas.  Good Luck!

UPDATE - 5/8/20

- Corsair Cache, + Bladestorm

Ok.  Last update for awhile.  My other Big/Taunt Warrior deck seems to be performing better atm.  Not a great winrate so far here, but this deck is fun and feels invincible at times!

(My other deck removes the Dimensional Rippers.  They're just too slow.  Maybe one is ok.  I also take out the Dead Man's Hand and Archmage Vargoth.  He's kind of a high roll anyway.)

For this deck, I took out Corsair Cache because it's just not good enough here -- at least not without some more weapons.  You could try a Livewire Lance, another Shield Slam or even the Bulwark of Azzinoth.  Another Bladestorm seems good for now.

You can also try a Scrap Golem (has good synergy w/ Armagedillo) or some Damaged Stegotrons.  Not sold on Plague of Wrath yet.  Need to test more.  Good Luck!

UPDATE - 5/13/20

-2 Bonechewer Vanguards, - Armagedillo, - Plague of Wrath, + The Boomship, + Colossus of the Moon, + Bulwark of Azzinoth, + Unidentified Shield

So, scratch that last opener.....this deck is doing better than my other Warrior deck.  I've only played 20 games or so, but it's maintained 45% winrate.  I'm going to keep trying some ideas....

Yeah, I took out the Bonechewer Vanguards....going away from taunts a little bit.  They were simply the worst performing taunts, and I wanted to keep some taunts in there.  Armagedillo was poor performing as well.  I know, it is a small sample size.

The Boomship and Colossus of the Moon were recommended and they're both perfect for this deck imo.  They both can just win games.  I need to test more, but I had to get these changes out there.  If I had to choose between the two, The Boomship is the better card.

Unidentified Shield is more for fun.  And I still don't think the Bulwark of Azzinoth is necessary.  You can swap one or both of them them out for an Omega Assembly and/or another early game card...probably a spell or weapon with low mana that is anti-aggro.

Have a Great Day and Good Luck out there!
