Are you guys all imp-atient to find out the next best deck to imp-rove your rank on ladder? This deck will surely imp-ress your friends! Well then, lets imp-...ok, im done, you get the idea :). This deck is all about imps and demons! The idea behind this deck is to constantly flood the board with imps and demons to overwhelm your opponent. I have had a lot of success with this deck on ladder so far climbing from rank 7 to almost 3 so I hope you all enjoy this amazing new deck! Full write-up below :).
If you like this deck, please give it a +1 so others have a chance to see it as well!
General Strategy:
Early Game (turns 1-3): We want to establish somewhat of a board using Flame Imp, Voidwalker, Knife Juggler, Doubling Imp. Against control classes like Priest, Warrior, Druid, etc or if the board is non threatening and we dont have a great turn 2 its ok to tap on 2. We don't have too much tempo after our early game so it's good to collect cards for our swing turns mid-game
Mid Game (turns 3-6): We can start setting up our token value cards like Rafaam's Scheme, Fiendish Circle, Hench-Clan Hag, Scarab Egg (to combo with Grim Rally or EVIL Genius). Then we should get a cheap Jumbo Imp or cheap Sea Giant around turns 5+. Witch's Cauldron is great for trading your imps or before you sacrifice a minion for Grim Rally or EVIL Genius.
End Game (turns 7+): We want to close the game out soon, so we'll be tapping almost every turn to find more minions and spells to throw on the board. Hopefully by now we've at least had 1 or 2 Jumbo Imp / Sea Giant on the board. The Soularium is a great refill tool as well.
General Mulligan:
Usually you want to look for your early cost minions like Flame Imp, Voidwalker, Knife Juggler, Doubling Imp. Dont keep EVIL Genius or Scarab Egg unless you have both together (then its OP). Against control classes like warrior, priest, druid, etc its ok to keep your mid game token cards like Rafaam's Scheme, Fiendish Circle and Jumbo Imp. I'll usually toss Sea Giant because against control classes, they wipe my board too much and against aggro, I'd rather have more early minions to establish tempo.
Vs. Hunter, Rogue and Warrior I'll even keep a Soulfire to deal with Scavenging Hyena, Hench-Clan Thug, and Augmented Elekk.

Just got my first jumbo imp from pack, whoooop. ha ha. I have enough dust for the second as well. might just go for it. I do enjoy the imp gameplay in my other deck, so would love to try out the jumbo shrimp version too.
you still playing this, mate? I am just missing those jumbo imps now. hopefully I will get them soon.
I have a new zoo deck as well you might like. it's a plot twist one. it's really good and I've not seen anyone else playing anything like it. I can send you if you like?
PS: I sent you my carpet deck I think the other day, and I sent you the new control one today I think. The carpet one has not been worked on in a while, so it probably needs a few changes to bring it up to speed. the basis is there though for something wonderful.
we should stay in touch on the new site as well though. my name on there is "FiendBot".
(do you play on EU at all as well, could always add you in game. I like your decks, always like to surround myself with people who make decks that are different, I find it helps with the creativity to do this)
Tought about adding Lord Godfrey to the deck?
seems a bit counter-intuitive to this deck since the whole point is to fill up your board and Lord Godfrey does the exact opposite, he clears your board. I get that it would be easy to put down cheap minions to start the chain and kill bigger minions on your opponents board but that's why we have Demonbolt
Godfrey would be terrible in this deck. Like monki said, it's counter intuitive and doesn't fit with the gameplan of the deck at all.
sorry.
Got a new imp/plot twist deck you might wanna check out?
Also just checking up on you and the deck and wondering how things are going?
I haven't gotten the jumbo imps yet to try this version, so I had to make an imp deck with what I had.
wow, I won't miss the arbitrary downvoting when HP is gone. Literally asked a question on your deck, get ignored and -3 for my troubles.
such a welcoming place :D
I love it. Totaly undefeated.
Wow!! Thats amazing to hear! I'm glad you like it :)
Replaced one Scarab Egg with Arch-Villain Rafaam. The results are preeeetty good.
awesome! I've also been thinking of adding in Arch-Villain Rafaam to deal with Warrior
5-0 with this so far in Casual (but still going up against mostly meta decks) and absolutely WRECKING FACE with it. The Tempo Rogue and Control Warrior in particular were just mumbling to themselves "What is happening right now?" I'll try it on ladder once I get to Rank 5.
So far the only cards that look like maybe they could be switched out are Henchclan Hag and maybe Jumbo Imp. Hag is actually decent but that's just kind of a flex slot. Imp I'm not sure about. One game they were dead draws and seemed uber-useless. The next game they basically won the game by themselves.
Loving this deck so far! You know how there are subtle tells that opponents are hesitant and don't know how to respond to your deck? Been seeing that every time with this. The main weak point of this deck is board clears but those are actually pretty rare outside of Warrior right now! That's a good sign for this deck. I'm not saying this deck is competitive but it's fun and playable. I'll test it further and report back.
Nice, thats awesome!! Yes, if you are going to cut Hench-Clan Hag then I might cut Jumbo Imp and visa versa since they do synergize well together. And you are right, that this deck is weak against board clears but that is exactly why this deck (and other token decks like Carpet Zoolock and Token Druid) is so strong right now since a lot of classes lost their early board clears in rotation. Let me know how it goes once you try it in ranked! :)
How is this deck performing? The main deck I was looking forward to before rotation was a Token Warlock with lots of sacrifice/cauldron/etc. shenanigans, but it hasn't even made into Tier 4 on HSReplay. Hopefully this deck is an undiscovered gem or at least the seed for a Tier 3 at least Token Warlock.
Seems like it would get wrecked by Warriors pretty bad. If it also can't deal with Tempo Rogues then it's strictly for the memes in this meta. So anyone know how this fares against Rogue? If it has a chance to succeed against Rogue what's the gameplan for that? Thanks for any input on this. (Also are Fiendish Circle and Jumbo Imp actually good in this? They seems so awkward.)
Guys lets find a way to make a competitive Token Warlock deck! If it's not this one then let's evolve it from this!
how about replacing eggs with goblin bombs?
the eggs create more tokens which are very beneficial for things like Sea Giant, Grim Rally, and Knife Juggler
Hit rank 5 from 14 after a few days using only this GREAT DECK! Bomb warriors are so tough. I subbed one Voidwalker for Blood Troll Sapper. I found it was the perfect tech for token druids as they love to flood just as much as this deck does. Has anyone tried running Arch-Villain Rafaam to help with the bomb warriors or just take the loss and move on?
dang, thats impressive!! and yeah, Arch-Villain Rafaam would probably be a good addition to combat all those control Warriors and Shamans
Seems good. I also tried replacing 1 Rafaam's Scheme with Arch-Villain Rafaam to deal with Warriors and to have more fun with random legendaries! :D
i tried your suggestion (Blood Troll Sapper), it is OP. Love it. 12 damage + LeeRoy + 2 SoulFire= 26 Damage in one turn. Great late game value here.
