Hello!
Here we go again!
I took this deck to legend on day 1 in the november season. It is similar to a deck I posted earlier (buff maly druid), but since the nerfs targeted Giggling, I had to make som changes.
The deck feels smooth and very, very strong. After many games I have come to an realization that the deck primarly win condition is to build a big board. The maly combo is a secundary win condition, which you opponent won't expect since you are playing cards that are usually seen in a token druid.
I had some recording issues, but I will try to get out a gameplay video!
Enjoy :)

Strategy guide
Since the mulligan is mainly based on the strategy, i choose to describe the game strategy first.
This deck is a lot harder to handle than the regular malygos deck, it is not as linear as the standard list. So first of all you will need some practice before managing this deck close to optimally.
Basicly you want to push a lot of damage with your minions. Most of the time you just win the board by making a huge board of buffed taunts. However, sometimes the malygos burst damage is needed to finish of your opponents.
Against aggro you really don't have to be greedy with your malygos otk combo pieces. You often will have to use swipe as removal to stabilize and get some plague value or combine strongshell and Chain gangs. Basicly it is all about claiming the board to avoid your opponent to rush you down.
Against control decks it is general all about trying to push minion damage to face. If that meens that you have to use swipe and moonfire for removal, so be it. The only clear execption is when facing baku warrior, then you usually want to get the full malygos combo in face. But you need to read the game situation as it develops. Against shudderwock Shaman, you will usually win by just playing for the malygos otk combo. So in that particular match up malygos OTK is you primary win condition.
One of the decks strongest combination, if not the strongest, is plague + strongshell and possibly some tyrants as well. This give you the possibility to swing the board in your favour. Also plague + MCT + strongshell is a huge swing turn.
To sum it up: Don't be to greedy regarding the malygos otk. Play it out like a tempo deck and try to snowball by buffing the board and sticking minions on board to push face damage.
Mulligan guide
Usually you want to look for ramp. But against aggro and hunters, I think MCT is OK to keep in hand. Against odd paladin you really need to look for is swipes and plagues.
Against control decks, usually keeping ramp cards is good. However, it's not possible to give a universal guide regarding which card to keep. Try to look for synergies and ramp cards, then you should do fine :)
Flexible spots
Many like to play Twig in Druid decks. In this deck, Twig is for sure a reasonable card to add. If you like to add twig, it can be changed for Power of the wild :)
I got Dreampetal Florist, Malygos, and Flobbidinous Floop as only minions in hand. I play Dreampetal Florist for that 50/50 chance of hitting Malygos, and EIGHTY FIVE PERCENT of the time she hits Floop.
FuCk mY lIfe.
worst deck EU
the deck looked inconsistent to me and i really didnt believe it will work, and yet im 10/1 tier 2 with it. not sure about Power of the Wild in all 11 games didnt see any use for it. maybe i will switch it with Biology Project.
Dunno, this deck has some slight confusion between Tempo and Malygos Ramp. Both optimal and sub-optimal in a lot of areas. May be what makes it effective, in a long game, this is a pretty crappy druid deck. Lucky RNG would get this to legend. Still...solid.
this deck is basically a token druid witch is solid by itself. the Malygos is is there to close the game. Malygos + 2 Moonfire is 12 damage to the face that cannot be stopped. hell even 1 Moonfire is 6 damage to the face that cannot be stooped. same damage as Leeroy Jenkins (of course its not exactly the same). and if you manage to reduce Malygos with Dreampetal Florist it is over!
With so many minions, does this deck run into issues with getting a consistent Dreampetal on Malygos? Seems like it would, there are just so many minions in the deck
Often its not a problem since your minions are cheap. But, if you like to make the malygos hit more consistent, that I suggest you add Twig :)
After playing a bit with the deck, I do feel it might need twig to offer a little more consistency. The problem is that if Florist even hits Floop it's basically a bust, and often times by the time I have both Florist and Maly in hand, I also have Floop, which means by default I pretty much always have a 50/50 chance of losing Florist value.
Thanks for sharing the list.
Always a shame that the deck limit is 30 cards! I am tempted to add Alexstrasza and/or The Lich King, but as a substitute for what then?!
I took out the Power of the Wild for The Lich King, but I think there are other flexible slots
Well, if you add those to cards, you are basicly getting close to the regular list. One of the thaughts behind this list is to play something else then everyone else. Therefore there is no lich king or Alex in the deck, although both of them would be a good fit. :)
Hello!!! really nice deck... im just gonna start trying it but as i saw it i looked it could fit double Card NameWhispering woods and the legendary spell? have you tought about it?
I must say that I take my hat off to you. I had the same idea for a long time, but only with MehaKhtun (token + MehaKhtun). I decided to include MehaKhtun, not Malygos, just because he requires less space in the deck (only 1xInnervate, 1xNaturalize, 1xMehaKhtun) so I could build a stronger token core of the deck (also more proactive), and still had opportunity to win in the late game (against odd warrior for example). But it turned out that in this meta you have to be very strong in mid game, or alredy win before mid part of game (Decks that cleaned the table easily, and could win before I dropped MehaKhtun). So I had huge problems with Deathrattle Hunters Malygos druids, Big Spell mage. I thought your deck wouldn't work either, but it turned out to be a little faster than mine, so it became much easier with Hunters and Druids, which are very many now. It’s still difficult with Big Mages, and I’m not sure how it will be aganst odd Warior (since the deck has a limited amount of damage (in this aspekt MehaKhtun was a bit better xD )). But, given the meta, your deck gave me 83% winrate, versus 52% of mine. So congratulations, very good, and amazingly fun deck!
PS. If you suddenly think to increase the maximum damage, and generally make the deck a little more interesting, I advise you to pay attention to such cards as Prince Taldaram, and Thalnos. I also agree that there is no need to have Twig of the World Tree in this deck, but I would also like to hear your opinion.
Man, I get wrecked as well (hell!) but I really believe you and Kiwi. Maybe it's a mix of the current meta and the start of the season.
It seems that everyone expects Spreading Plague and plays around it - they do not summon more than 3 minions. Also I get terrible draws - most of the time I have two Strongshell Scavenger in hand with e.g. no taunt minions on board. Not to forget that I get ramp in about 30% of the time in my starting hand but have for example the Dreampetal Florist and/or Ultimate Infestation. It's terrible.
The thing that I'm trying to say is that the deck seems not consistent enough (maybe it's just for me!) and I just want to ask you how do you manage these situations? You said that the deck really is not easy to pilot but in oftentimes that's not the case - you have just one or two options.
As you said, this deck is really complicated to pilot well. Because of exactly knowing how greedy to get with the strongshell, and when to just dump it down naked to dump your hand for UI for examlpe. To make it easier to pilot, and maybe even a bit stronger, you can add Twig for one POTW. Then the malygos combo will hit more often and concistent.
Yeah, droping naked Strongshell Scavenger looks like a total loss of tempo and opportunity. I had a better luck today - playing it at 9th and 10th rank.
Druid decks are like Taco Bell. Take the same old ingredients and recombine them in different ways.
Rank 17 and lost 10 games out of 15, i was bored with zoolock but this deck is kinda not worth its dust, idk how you guys like it
People are bored.
Obviously you can netdeck highest winrate druid deck and do a little better, but that's not fun at this point in the meta for many. At least this is something a little different.
Bro this is not an easy deck to pilot, for sure. It's one of the harder decks out there, as is mentioned in the guide. It relies a lot on planning for subsequent turns, sequencing your turn properly, anticipating the opponent plays, making things weird for the opponent, setting up for 2 card combos like saronite chain gang and strongshell scavenger. A simple example is that I had 4 mana left, in a game, and I had an option between saronite chain gang and tar creeper. The opponent had a bunch of 3/3 and 3/1 minions on board. I went with tar creeper even though it's mana inefficient. Just because it makes the trades worse for him.
I am a druid main and I'm 3-0 with this deck at present at rank 5, and it took me half an hour to get those wins. I didn't play perfectly, but it was good enough. I'll post some replays at the end of this comment. I'd recommend you watching them.
Playing suggestions:
Since you're at rank 17 with zoo, I would recommend trying to get to rank 10 at least, before giving this deck a shot.
Crafting suggestion:
I'd recommend not crafting this deck, and if you already crafted, then I'd strongly recommend NOT dusting it, because it's very hard to craft cards, and dusting cards makes your collection very weak, with the exception being nerfs, where you absolutely should dust all the nerfed cards.
