 About this deck:

As you can see this deck has no win condition. You play cards, you steal cards and you have to manage your ressources every turn. When you play this deck, expect very long, grindy games, especially when playing against other control decks.

What is so special about this deck?

Well, it's kind of retro Priest play style like you played this class in the beginning of Hearthstone. Priest is a very reactive class and this deck is the ultimate prayer meeting featuring cards like Archbishop Benedictus, Holy Water and the good old Holy Nova.

You play this deck with Baku the Mooneater, so your hero power will be upgrated to heal 4 instead of 2 life. This is very needed against all those aggro decks and is even more supported by other survival cards like Omega Medic and Holy Nova.

The deck has a ton of tech cards and removal cards like Gluttonous Ooze, Ironbeak Owl, Shadow Word: Death, Big Game Hunter, Holy Nova, Holy Water and Psychic Scream.

Your ressource generating and value cards are Crystalline Oracle, Mind Vision, Thoughtsteal, Holy Water (when the condition is met), Zola the Gorgon, Stonehill Defender and of course the Archbishop Benedictus.

For some random board swings you have double Mind Control Tech which is very strong in this current meta.

And that's it - pretty boring decklist and you might want to change some of those cards. You can do that, but I think I already picked the "best in slot" cards for this kind of deck. While you still might think that playing this deck will not be fun you just need to try it out. You will have much more fun than you expect! (This does not apply to pure aggro players of course, this is a control deck and you will feel the control while piloting this Thief Priest deck).

How to play this deck:

The only important card you might want to find early or even mulligan for is Archbishop Benedictus. When you have this card you can decide when you will use it and if that moment will be before or after you played 1 or 2 Psychic Screams. This really depends on the deck of your opponent. Otherwise keep 1 drops and look for 3 drops depending on the opponents class you face.

Keep your hand size in mind, especially when playing against Druid. When you play a big threat you can be sure they will answer it with Naturalize to mill you some cards. If that happens, don't mind it, you will always be in the better situation when it comes to fatigue damage (only exception is a mirror(-like) match.
