Mulligan:
always keep: Acidic Swamp Ooze (it helps against aggro and warlocks, you can also just play this for tempo)
vs aggro: Zap!, Stormforged Axe, Healing Rain, Hot Spring Guardian, Lightning Storm
vs control: Mana Tide Totem, Storm Chaser, Stonehill Defender
against rogue or hunter keep: Earth Shock (silence their deathrattle minion)
when you have good mana curve against control keep: Eureka! and Giant Mastodon or Sleepy Dragon
Upgrades:
Bloodmage Thalnos - Card Draw and it synergies with all burn spells
Doomsayer - a really cheap and great tool to stop the early aggression. If you are a new player that want to become a control master you should craft it.
Gluttonous Ooze - not only you can destroy a weapon but you also gain armor
Lesser Saphire Spellstone - get few copies of big minions that you will summon. Works great with Charged Devilsaur because you can hit face.
Charged Devilsaur - you can kill a minion right away or go face when this will be summoned by Eureka!
Hagatha the Witch - we do not play a lot of minions but it can generate a little bit of value anyway and it's a board clear that also provides armor.
The Lich King, Ysera or any other big minion - generates a lot of late game value and it's a great target for Eureka!
Cards That might be included:
Beakered Lightning - when odd paladin is your worst nighmare you can kill most of their 1/1 with it.
Earth Elemental - really interesting minion. Might be played with Eureka! or when you struggle against aggro just play it on curve for taunt
Snowfury Giant - there are a lot of overload cards in this deck but imo it's not good enough with Eureka!
Cairne Bloodhoof - hard to kill.
Intersting ideas:
You can include Far Sight but at the same time it makes more sense cut cheap spells.
Electra Stormsurge - there are cool spells that you can combine with it (ekhm ... Eureka!)
Witchwood Grizzly - good against aggro and with Eureka!
Skulking Geist - counters a lot of things in this meta but be careful about Earth Shock because it might be destroyed (you can also just remove it from your deck)
Malygos - works great with all burn spells but you should probably include sth that can go face. (Lightning Bolt, Frost Shock)
Strategy:
vs aggro: try to remove stuff that they will play. You should have enough removal and healing. One or two AoE board clears should be enough. Later just play Eureka! and you will have a big minion with taunt for defense. It's important to not let them overwhelm you with aggression. Zap! and Stormforged Axe can help you in killing all early threats.
vs control: this is a little bit more tricky because you need enough threats. Pick the biggest minion from Stonehill Defender and try to play Eureka! ASAP. Removal might be only helpful to keep your minions alive. Summon big boiiiis and apply preassure.

It kinda sucks, because Eureeka is too situational to have good consistency. Let's say you have 2 minions on hand on turn 6 when you can cast it, then it's a 50/50 rng situation between good and complete waste of mana and potential battlecry.
Just put it together and it's a blast to play if you're familiar with Shaman. I was missing some of your cards so I swapped out the fatties with what I had.
Thanks for sharing.
Also got 2 Eurekas, so I should try it for fun :) I think you may add some other win condition to make this deck stronger :)
So been hunting around for ideas and found this deck.
Good right up has had a few light bulbs moments for me so thank you.
For my two pennies worth, I find Eureka gets watered down by any other minion in your hand, and with my luck I end up with a six mana stone hill defender or just as I'm about to play it on turn six another minion gets drawn that I then have to dump.
Anyway cheers I've ended up making a overload elemental shaman that's proving quite fun. How it does on the ladder we'll see 100% so far (3 games 😂😂)
Should warn new players that this deck is not a top tier deck and to use your dust wisely. That being said, looks like a cool ass deck and thanks for sharing.
Budget version is so terrible it hurts my eyes. Even aggro will outvalue you in the late game. Enjoy pressuring opponent with 9 mana 4-12.
not much difference between the full decklist other than the snowball and charge tbh
I love the idea of playing Electra with Eureka. Hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the deck! Keep up the good work. :-)
just put all your taunt then put void ripper then viola! insta kill
This deck is a blast with a few modifications such as the suggested devilsaurs/Lich King/Ysera
Got 2 gold eurekas from the preorder and ill definetly trying it tomorrow when ill come back from work.Thank you for sharing.love the idea.
Expensive so you can’t easily play it from hand, really bad Eureka synergy.
Tried the full version of this deck, can't take a single win even at rank 20. It's garbage.
Dude you can grab wins with a deck using only basic card set. Ive done 20 to rank 15 with a mage deck using only the basic set of card. Your skills are garbage sorry not sorry.
I love trying both versions of this deck and I can tell that this awesome decklist will be a good introduction to shaman for a ton of new players.
As always I hope ya'll give this a try cause it is definitely a lot of fun to play with.
I made a video showcasing the deck in action, I really hope you all enjoy!
I feel like Al'Akir might fit in here as well
yeah, but then its not budget.
That's a nicer way of saying, "this shaman deck sucks play shudderwock instead."
Full decklist?
This is a good decklist, can't wait to see the guide
