I prefer the entrance quote he does have: "Your skills are growing." It's just "condescending dad" enough. I've also used Varian to kill Anduin several times, so there are plenty of times when Anduin's second cry is his deathrattle. ;)
Nice Arthas reference there. What, did Anduin steal a Frostmourne now?

I kinda regret crafting him as soon as TGT went live
Well, once as a priest I toughtstealed Varian from my opponent and played it. My army was Lightwell, Ironbeak Owl and Vol'jin . :D
I absolutely love him. Sometimes his value is shit but sometimes he wins you the game.
Is this a must craft? Is it in the top tier legendaries like sylvanas, dr boom and ragnoras?
There are many top warrior players already mentioned that Varian is overrated. He doesnt fit in the current control warrior deck due to the fact that you not only lose battlecry from the cards you also greatly expose yourself to potential board wipe like Brawl & Lightbomb, Equality combo, shadowflame and so on.
Against aggro, you dont even get a chance to play him or even if you do, pray for the RNG god you get a taunt from it.
Against Control, you risk yourself 4 cards for a board wipe, which eventually makes you auto lose to fatigue matchups.
From a legend player stand point, this card has little reward for its high risk.
The biggest issue here is that when it comes to control match-ups, it is not about flooding the board but controlling the board. Not to over-extent is the first lesson we learn from playing control deck. When you play Varian, you not only expose yourself to over-extension but you also lose all the battlecry effect the minions he summons, which is very bad.

I don't know much WOW lore, having never played the game, but isn't Varian Wrynn the kind of humans? Why would he be a warrior card then?
Varian Wrynn is a warrior in WoW.
Just because garrosh is an orc doesn't mean you can't have humans be warriors
