What you wan'me kill?
This brings up some memories, good ones of course!
Although the golden version looks really amazing, without the particle effects I feel like the plain blue background looks a bit dull, wish it would've been spiced up a little. Good card though!
61.5% deck winrate, 65.5% played.
This card is insane.
Tess: Maybe play some cards you maybe stole that maybe do something good
Zul'jin: LOL play everything you played all game
RIP Tess
First impresions: he's really good.
I got him in the first 15 packs!!!!!
Day 1 craft?
Only thing I dont like about this card is the voice
Even though this card is pretty decent, this is just a testament to how absolutely disgusting Bloodreaver Gul'Dan is. This card gives you like 7 7 worth of stats on board, kills a minion or 2 on your opponent's side, and gives you a couple of secrets that usually have diminishing returns (like when freezing and explosive trap go off on the same turn). Then it gives you a mediocre hero power that usually actually screws you because you want to play Rexxar first.
Gul'Dan gives you like >20 20 worth of taunts across multiple creatures and deathrattles consistently, AND gives you a disgusting hero power that wins you the game on its own.
you actually missed some things here. this generally cleans the opponents board, summon at least 5 wolves, play 5 secrets (even with diminshing returns), pay your student's fees and give you a free pass to hawaii. holy f in so salty about this card.
Zul'jin> Yogg-Saron, Hope's End for hunter only. When can I get the golden card images of Zul'jin and Loti?
After release
Personally I love Zul'jin but there are a lot of things about this care I wish were different. The hero power should have passive ability If you're under 15 health deal 4 damage instead or something like that, fits Zul'jin more than just a basic 2 damage. Another thing is the portrait is pretty bad in my mind and also I think he's threat should've been "When you get to da afterlife, tell them Zul'jin sent ya!" Finally I know that emote is long but DK Uther has a long threat to. I know I'm just nitpicking but I love Zul'jin.
Ahhh his flavour text is a reference to Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball"
The art literally looks like a Glamour Shot.
lol at "If you can dodge an axe, you can doge a ball".
While this is very good now with Kobolds expansion in Standard, I fear for this card's future post-rotation next year. There doesn't seem to be a lot of spells you'd want to run in Witchwood or Boomsday. Your only options past the classic cards would be Cybertech Chip, Secret Plan, Wing Blast, Dire Frenzy and Rat Trap. You can also think about Flark's Boom-Zooka for the memes.
The only new spell worth running in such a deck is probably Revenge of the Wild, but that won't always work out when you play this card.
While it's possible some of these cards will work out pretty well, we're losing such powerful tools as To My Side!, Wandering Monster, Flanking Strike, Lesser Emerald Spellstone, and Crushing Walls. 3 of those are the most powerful things you can cast probably, creating scenarios of generating a powerful board of minions while destroying 2-4 minions on your opponents side. This won't be possible post-rotation.
From the newer cards, I like Cybertech Chip - it'll play great with the animal companions and 3/3 beasts but I'm not sure how it's going to fair after rotation.
Basically, better try to enjoy your Zul'jin while spells are aplenty, because the card might be dust fodder in April barring what new cards enter Standard next expansion.
