playing a 1/1 on turn 2 then playing 3 1/1s on turn 3 or 4 sounds like a bad idea. I guess you could use handbuffing or divine shield shenanigans to power them up but it seems REALLY slow.
This makes me think there will be some paladin card/s that powers up when you play recruits.
Could be fun in a Wild silver hand deck with cards like Quartermaster.
I'd say probably not... That sounds very unlikely considering Mustard, Stand Against Darkness and Lost in the Jungle don't.

Yep. This expansion is for Wild Pally as in standart 90%(so far) the cards are unplayable or not good enough. Another expanson fo Murloc Pally or bust.
If it where to be a Battlecry instead of a Deathrattle effect I would say it's one of the better choices for a handbuff Paladin, with one +1/+1 you'll get 6/6 worth of stats for 3 mana. I guess it could still be viable If you're sure you can trade it of with some handbuff cards in your hand. It's a nice hand filler if anything.
Silver Hand Recruit spammer here, and I'm not impressed with this card. Yet.
Muster for Battle or Hero Power + Lost in the Jungle is better than this because it instantly summons the same 3 minions for 2 less mana, and either way you still spend 1 card to get those three recruits. Playing this just means you have Silver Hand Recruits in your hand and other than accidental use of Getaway Kodo or a Rogue's Vanish to wipe the field, that's the only real reason you'll ever have these recruits in your hand.
On top of that, Paladins already have plenty of ways to instantly summon our tokens: Silver Hand Regent, Stand Against Darkness, Justicar Trueheart + Hero Power, and the two cards I mentioned earlier.
You can use the minions in your hand to combo with Steward of Darkshire or bait out a secret like Repentance, but other than that, I'm not impressed. Here's hoping there's more synergy with this card in the expansion otherwise I'm never gonna touch it.
Expired Mustard for Battle
Weak body with no immediate impact upon dying. Even in Handbuff Paladin I feel like there's better choices. Unless they do something really insane with Recruits this expansion I don't see this being played
