You can run this without the Questline, but I think you want the rest of the Dude package at the very least.

Just running a bunch of Divine Shield minions and handbuffs isn't going to get you the value you need.

This card could be very, very good.  Set up the final charge on Seedcloud Buckler, play this, break your weapon, then trade your board for multiple procs.

On its own it's vaguely similar to Don Han'Cho, 1 mana cheaper, but counterable.

I could easily see getting +15+15 in your hand from this guy.

Watch Trump's theorycrafting video of Divine Shield Paladin, and you will see exactly that. It wasn't even hard to pull off.

Even if you play him on an empty board, he is basically a cheaper Don Han'cho

Great if you already have divine shield minions down that you can crack open before you play him. Pretty good even just as he is.
