Random on top of random.
Just... jesus. Theres no more excitement or originality in the cards.
Get fucked, Neptulon
Agreed. And he's 1/18 cards getting elemental tag so most probably he'd be up to some cool shenanigans in wild.
Everyfin would be awesome, but since explorers are rotating out not Everyfin is Awesome :(
I will run x2 Hungry Crab in mill rouge, with 2 copies of Shadowstep, Gadgetzan Ferryman and Youthful Brewmaster, to eat them all.
I assume they will release more Murlocs for shaman this expansion.
Guess you're forgetting about the 4 mana summon 4 1/1 murlocs for Shamans. Since the quest read SUMMON (Not PLAY) 10 murlocs, Call in the FInishers give you 4/10 for the quest. You can play Finja, and if Finja pulls 2, you're already 7/10. One more Call in the FInishers, and you still got your other Warleader/Bluegill combo remaining? Seems completable pretty early, and more than likely you could play Megafin the turn you complete the quest. Wouldn't surprise me if they gave Shamans a Murloc 1 drop, too. Now, Megafin filling our hand.... That can be annoying, especially if you ended up milling that 2nd Warleader and were given nothing but crap murlocs.
This really doesn't need to go into a murloc deck to work.
You'll have a decent chance of fin-ishing the quest with the water package and call in the finishers. Possibly some experimentation with tidehunter and the new discover murloc. I could absolutely see this going into a new mid-range type deck, akin to dragon decks that simply run the bare minimum dragons to get the synergy going. Just save megafin for when you run out of steam and viola!
Also of note, there's still a 2 mana 2/3 murloc we haven't seen yet, if the intro video is anything to go on.
I know murloc decks aren't the strongest right now but they have the potential to become more obnoxious within the meta than pirates if Blizzard gives them a bunch more ridiculous stuff.
My exact thoughts, I didn't think i'd ever come to the day where i'd need to run 2 Hungry Crab
what are you talking about? murlocs are mad strong, ever heard of the Finja package? or water package or anyfin can happen control pala or anyfin can happen aggro water pala?
The "Finja package" is a set of usually 5 murlocs that you stick into a non-murloc deck. The semi-competitively viable Anyfin Paladin is a control/combo deck and not the traditional aggro style that murlocs are built to play. I'm talking about the hyper-aggressive rush style that could end up making a comeback.
it won't, too many board clears these days
I didn't think that Sir Finley would also be put back in the expansion.
So manyfins can happen with this card! :o
Probably the easiest quest to complete
but the reward is underwhelming tbh. Everyfin is Awesome gets rotated out Ancestral Knowledge is rotating out. Primalfin Lookout and Megafin will make sure you don't run out of (murloc) cards though and Coldlight Oracle. If you summon Megafin, make sure you play a card with it if you don't want to burn a card from your deck.
This is a very cool card for sure. ive actually been playing Call in the finishers with Anyfin is Awesome and its been better than i thought. I cant wait to see what else we will see.
Call the Finishers makes way more sense in context now. NOt too crazy about Megafin tho. I guess he's not meant to be plyayed immediately after fin(hehe)ishing the quest but rather as a refill once you run dry.
Random Murlocs doesn't sound too bad, considering you can get stuff like Vilefin inquisitor and Seadevil stinger which sound pretty good when applied to shaman
