quest is not a secret
Good card for the most part, but can't play around Big Game Hunter
0/10
so do I.
...Blacknight everyone? It's just struck me that he might be quite a problem for Amara...
You still get a 10~39 health heal up for 5 mana, and your oppenent spent 6 mana on a card which would otherwise be a Yeti.

Quests are a new mechanic and they are super powerful when triggered. However, if aggro is still a thing (which always happens), this card is pretty bad. We definitely don't know what metagame will Un'goro bring to hearthstone, but first glance this card is interesting but too slow.
Cant wait to try this card in wild mode, with sludge belcher and sylvanas, many good interactions using N' zoth
Does quests use the secret spots so with a quest I can only have 4 secrets on board
Yes, it does. But does that really matter? most standard decks don't run very many secrets ^^
secret priest archetype lmao
Doesn't matter to most competitive decks but some people like to run crazy decks. So those who are running a full secret deck will probably be a bit downtrodden by that fact. As well, in the past there have been decks that would care about that, mainly Secret Paladin, so I'd say there's a possibility that it will matter to competitive decks at some point.
I got it that we won't get "remove quest" effect but like reseting the completion on it? That would add some counterplay to it.
I think that'd make quests 100% unplayable considering the criteria are tough to hit.
But reno had no counterplay either and we're losing him.
There are a few good deathrattles that could work for priest.
Shifting Shade, Cairne Bloodhoof , Loot Hoarder are good quality , 6 so far.
Now there is also Barnes that can summon 1, maybe.
Now where i see potential is Moat Lurker, imagine you played cairne or Twilight Summoner and you Moat Lurker that shit, thats like 3 deathrattles if the Moat Lurker dies unsilenced.
Moat lurkering a deathrattle is just a deathrattle circlejerk.
theres also Bomb Squad and Corrupted Healbot that can be silenced next turn by Defias Cleaner or Kabal Songstealer.
You can probably easily make this spell work this expansion if someone would test the moat luker/panda/silence stuff out.
Not to mention whatever deathrattles come out with Un'goro.
The most interesting interaction will be with N'Zoth,
Because you won't be restrained to play your Deathrattle minions until quest is in play.
I do like where this card is going and as for a couple more deathrattles that are good, Mistress of mixtures is pretty solid, even if it's for priest, infested tauren and (if the meta gets slow enough) possibly even harvest golem.
However, the issue with this card isn't about finding enough good deathrattles to go into a single deck, it's making a deck that will be fast enough to not lose to aggro decks. While I hope the meta slows down to where fun cards like this work out (and the spoiled cards certainly look like they want to move towards a slower meta), it might still be too fast for quests to become viable. Hopefully they do though and then decks like this could work out.
Dont forget zombie chow in wild.
What I'd like to know is whether quests can be removed/stolen by secret-stealing effects (Flare, Eater of Secrets, Khezan Mystic).
no, because it says summon and in order for something to be summoned it has to come out of you hand from you playing it. That also means that dirty rat pulling a deathrattle minion does count since it says that they are summoning a minion. Plus why would you want to rely on taking minions from the other player when they could also never run a deathrattle to counter the priest quest?
