With egg you would have 4/4 and 3/5, but instead of turn 7 you can do it on turn 3. And it still not good enough to play voidterror.
But it is so objectively worse than Nerubian Egg and if your thinking of playing zoo in standard, it looses so many powerful minions that I dont see the standard "sticky minion" based zoo being viable anymore, that pretty much goes for any deathrattle deck in standard. We also lose Hobgoblin so that synergy is also no longer viable. Why play a deck that now requires over half the deck to be remade when you could play a completely new archetype or a deck that as not suffered any significant loss in card quality like maly rogue?
I don't know about your history of card games but "zoo" is an archetype that exists in almost every card game and always finds a way to come out, whether it runs more aggro heavy or midrange value minions it always exists and I promise standard zoo will be a viable archetype, they might have to go heavier on aggro due to loss of haunted creeper and nerubian and go for more soul fire leper gnome type thing but itll still be zoo
I feel like there's way more Epic quality cards being revealed over others. Which is good as they're usually the most fun.
well, 0% chance I'd ping this without silencing, but I'm not sure a 5/5 is worth wasting a silence. Actually, I think the tempo hit might end up making this too slow. Also, this is crap in top-deck wars
This is going right into my Hobgoblin deck.
Theorycrafted with a friend on where this would be useful. The effect is very strong, but the issue is that the power is delayed. Deathrattle Rogue is the easiest one to consider being a turn 7 play as the 1/1's survival would absolutely not be guaranteed by your opponent. Warrior decks were also considered as you could have enablers for the deathrattle. Whether it be using the 1/1 body to enable execute or a whirlwind effect just killing the 1/1 in the same turn. Problem with killing the 1/1 is that even that body is useful even if minimally impactful. Ramp Druid could also be considered since getting that out earlier is better to make use of the 5/5 body without the 1/1 body being useless. Last possibility is in an N'Zoth deck as it would be capably sticky for your board.
Let me change your mind...
chances are there are better epics from the choices, but if this card is the better choice of epics in arena it is definitely one card no is going to want to ping without an immediate answer if they have it.
as nice as it looks i would rely rather play a 5 drop in that slot unless im using some kind of gimmick deck
probably going to change......so not really that great or smart of a post, sorry
0,01% of the time the enemy has bgh in hand when you play Dr. boom, oh wait.
Seriously? Earth Shock is not that commonly used. Most control decks don't run it and only some aggro decks do. Plus it often gets used to take out a smaller threat before T4. I would argue that a large number of people don't have silence in hand the majority of the time. When's the last time you've seen a priest deck with any silencing? Non-aggro warrior? Paladin? Kazikolot's comment was very valid in that people always jump to best scenario.
