yay. more casino.
I love it!
I really like this card, it is good in early game and good in late game.
I think that this is one of the best ideas, to use all available mana crystals and get balanced effect for it, it is weaker and not synergistic but it is something you can always play.
And I think that getting solid 6-10 drop is amazing when you don't have solid play. It is early / late game minion whenever you don't have a good play, here it is better than not using your mana but weaker than having the minion from your deck.
I dont agree with you. This card is not necessarily better the more mana you spend with it. I can give you an example:
-There are 4 ten drops, varyan, deathwing, sea and frost giant. Varyan is a war golem (7 mana) and the giants are like fossilized devilsaur (8 mana). The chances of getting a minion with 10 mana worth of stats is 25%.
-There are 18 nine drops: 10 of them aren't worth 9 mana, so the chances of getting 9 mana worth of stuff is like 44%. But, from that 10 cards that are not worth 9 mana, just 2 of them are worse than the bad results of a 10 mana foridden shaping.
In conclusion, the average 9 mana forbidden shaping will get a better result than a 10 mana one,
With time, you could do the same analysis with the rest of the cards.
Yeah I agree with you that the chance of getting value of a 9 or 10 drop is slim. That being said, this card is so flexible that you don't have to use this with 9 or 10 mana. Actually on turn 9 or 10, you could just hero power then use this card with a better chance of getting more value from a 7 or 8 drop.
What I wanted to say is that this card will probably work better if you play it as a medium size minion, from 4 to maybe 8.
I have no idea how can you disagree with me, because you see I think that this card should be used whenever you would loose tempo or turn. It might be turn 4 or turn 7 whenever you don't have card to play.
When I play priest I often float some mana after turn 5 so having a minion then is better for me than having it on turn 4 when I already have a play. You can always hero power and get 8-drop on turn 10 (they are about the same value as 10 mana cards).
Definetly more playable than it's mage counterpart.
only hard to get cards are allowed to be fun.
I made a youtube video as usual as my comment. Hope that´s fine guys :)

Conclusion: I like the card =)
This card is frikin great!, never ever ever will you find a dead draw!
If you're playing a C'thun deck and your C'thun is buffed, you play this for 10 and roll a C'thun, will it be buffed?
only buffed for cards that buff C'thun after you drop it.
For example you have your C'thun in your hand for its a 10/10 and you get drop it, then play this card and get another C'thun you would then have a 6/6 C'thun (summoned from this card) and a 10/10 on board, if you then dropped a Twilight Elder (next turn), both C'thun's would then be buffed to a 11/11 and 7/7.
Also remember being summoned this way means no battle-cry will trigger for C'thun.
it says wherever it is. So does cyberspace count?
Actually i think your wrong since C'thun buffs are applied to the hero not the card so yes it should retain the buff even if it was summoned from this card
I think there's a good chance it does, because in code C'thun is probably checking the player for the buff variable when he comes to the battlefield(it is been stated that the buff is on the player), and blizzard probably wants to do that for summons as well for consistency.
probably not...since you just ''created'' a new card + its not in your deck soo a plain old boring 6/6 feels bad man
Nope. Blizzard confirmed that buff-effects to c'thun are aura-effects that are attached to the player (not the hero). So if you get c'thun out of it, it will have the same health/attack as if you had played him, except the battlecry of course.
