Not bad! Maybe it could help Shaman get rid of totems and not worry about overload.
You shouldn't be downvoted, you're 100% correct. I can see most shamans running this it's a very low cost, low risk, high reward card. Draw it early, draw it late can still be good. Everybody hates shammy hero power, well here it is.
A murloc even, if you want to go nuts with the shaman murloc deck. Blizz made this card for shamans.
I think this card will change the game. Thus far, whenever you build a deck you start with your hero power followed by the class cards available. The best decks have sick synergy (face hunter, handlock, control warrior).
With this card, you can ignore your own hero power as part of the equation. It won't let give enough leeway to build a healing control hunter, but you can move in new directions by switching between:
Tempo (rogue, mage, druid, paladin, shaman) to Card Advantage (Warlock, Priest) to Hero Life (Warrior, Priest, Hunter)

This enables decks that naturally didn't make sense (aggro priest/warrior, or control hunter), in a word, possible. Of course, it needs to happen early which is why he's a one-drop. You mulligan (hard?!) to get him, and then hope you get the right discover.
Can I ALSO point out this is "DISCOVER" a new hero power? If I am right, I'm pretty sure from the spoiled mechanic this means you get to CHOOSE one of the possible 3 revealed powers it'll pull up for you.

A secret buff to Poisoned Blade, Rogue and Shaman.
Rogue hero power is the best in the game in the early-game. Late-game it's bad but this is an early-game card. Rogue hero power is the one you want early game.
It' fine to cast this late game when you no longer feel you need your hero power to help clear early board. It is also good for combo at a one cost. I don't feel it is only good if it is played early.
I really think he can help give control Rogue and Hunter the push they need.
Regardless I think this set is the best so far. And Sir Fin will be a blast to play. Lol tanking up with him and Trueheart!?!? Any fin is possible!
I see a great future for this card.
Some classses like rouge or Murloc Shaman can get some good value out of this
And every class can get a chance to find the mage hero power, in other words, everyone can ping
Not only that but I suspect that like Justicar Trueheart, you will be able to hero power - change it with him - hero power again. It will be very interesting to see...
Pretty ironic that most people want to use it in Shaman regarding the strength of his hero power... :-P

After thinking about this card over the day since reveal, in a variety of match situations, the more I come to see how powerful this card can be.
It's a situation card indeed, but for 1 mana the flexibility it gives for those situations is extremely valuable. Depending on matchup if this is in your starting hand, perhaps it's wise to change to another Hero Power. Also good for mid and endgame, if you need that extra 1 damage, get that extra minion on the board you need or in need to heal your self with either armor or a priest heal. It's a high chance to get what your looking for.
Definitely will see some play since it acts like a soft-sideboard.

a really cool card but to risky for serious games. would be way better if it wouldnt be legendary, but still fine in control hunter
This looks incredibly fun, and probably really good, too. Fantastic one drop stats, but a little risky to play turn 1. AND it's a murloc. This may be my favourite card of the expansion in terms of just raw fun.
But it's a nerf to Murloc Knight. =/
