That's a good point actually.... a 1/4 (armorsmith stats) with this effect would have been PERFECT. Instead, it will die to almost any 1 or 2 drop the opponent plays. As a 1/4 you'd almost always be getting a coin from it.. which would be pretty AWESOME.
I REALLY want this card to work but I'm afraid that 2 health is not enough. should propably be a 2/3 or a 1/3 if they want to balance it. I hope I'm wrong and that it will actually be amazing!
Damn, this would be a perfect pirate
Oh My VanCleef! That's brilliant!
This card will make rogue even more creative class. I love it! Although it might be just another way to make Miracle more than "I need to draw this like NOW!" thing. Anyway +1
PS: 2/2 terrible stats etc - Master of Disguise , Conceal and spare parts.
2nd turn Burglar
3rd turn Coin + Master of Disguise or just Burglar + Conceal
Not that hard to gain at least one additional Coin
OFC early game removals kill it instantly, but HS is RNG game, what if he/she dosen't have them right now? :)
it's an insta kill minion, I like it :3 but the problem is keep it alive
Wtf guys, this card is just 2/2 for 2 because its died instantly, what is terrible. Dead card for ladder and crappy 2 drop for arena. This card only can works with steals or charge. Or if you have taunt. Taunts in rogue decks? Nah. And its not good for possible control rogue for same reasons.
Burglar: Hard to judge card at first, but the potential combo and ramp this card theoretically offers is amazing. Hard to place in a deck in that, for full agro, a 2/2 for 2 that isn't sticky or offer immediate value isn't particularly what you're looking for. In a control deck you generally want a board clearing presence early to take you to late game. This sort of focuses this card into combo oriented decks or mid range tempo, where you take an initial early loss to get a combo swing. Compared to a mad scientist it's hard to call this card constructed viable as both are 2/2 for 2 mana but Scientist draws a secret from your deck, gives you ramp coin-innervate (coin for paladin, innervate for hunter or innervate + coin for mage) and plays the card while this card only gives you a coin worth of ramp under strict conditions and cannot be used to trade. However giving rogue a coin is a huge advantage and is a high value removal target early in the game.
It's unfortunate it's a weak body and gets denied hard by taunt but is definitely great synergy for cards like the panda cavalry as you can assure you get a turn 4 boulderfist ogre without relying on going 2nd. This card basically relies on either being played very early and hoping it's not removed or comboed with conceal / master of disguise / taunt minion to attempt to get the ramp. However with the risk of not getting value this card struggles to be a must play. Your best case scenario for value is ideally, coining this card out turn 1 when 2nd, and gaining a coin for SI agent turn 2 would add a huge tempo play, assuming the card sticks to the board again.
If this card were 2/2 for 2, battlecry: Add a Coin to your hand it would be a constructed staple and essentially be reverse overload, paying more mana now for a dis count later. With guaranteed value even for poor stats you could see it as always a delayed 2/2 for 1 mana.
The fragility and need to stick to the board without being sticky itself holds this card back. 2 damage early game however is very easy for all classes to deal with, even paladins have argent lance/ seal of light and druids with living roots can also remove this minion with incredible ease and huge tempo gains. Every other class also has very easy ways to deal with this early game too like storm forged axe, smite, arcane shot and even the less used cards like demon fire, billgill warrior. This also doesn't even count playing annoy-o-tron, void walker or any early game taunt negates this cards ability.
I really hope this card sees a combo of some kind that I'm not seeing atm to make it run because conceptually having a card that grants you a coin is amazing! but the execution here just doesn't hit the mark imo because of how limited your options are.
In arena, this card is basically pint sized summoner except you can't trade with it but gain combo potential. I think it's generally a poor arena pick, especially for a rare card slot.
Mechano bot -> Windfury! Two extra mana per turn :x
I love it, also I can sense some awesome golden card animation in this one!
I rly like Cards of possibilities like this one, but dunno, i can´t imagine to play or see him somewhere arround higher ladder.
for sure a coin can be very strong in rouge, but how often does he rly hit a enemy hero? Just check it now and put something like a Knife juggler in your rouge and check how often he will not been removed/have to trade, you wont like the Result.
If you could somehow get windfury on this!
unfortunatly killed by almost all 1 drops, would be amazing if it had 3 health, but i dont think we schould rule it out. amazing for combos
man that cards looks badass!
WOW, i dont have to use Target Dummy for Combo Activator in the Semi Mech version :P
cool
Interesting card
These new rogue cards are amazing and so much fun.
Like Posioned Blade ?
We don't talk about that card. ever.
