Potentially a very good card. But highly dependant on your RNG skills. But basically this would be 3 mana for a 3/2 and an additional totem making it pretty good as 3/2 is usually a 2 mana card with the best value of mana tide totem to a 5 mana that costs 3. Plus the other totems aren't that bad and totem golem would be great too as you lose the overload by not playing it.
This card is slightly OP......I mean please make it an EPIC card........its value has to be reflected by its rarity.....
Rarity only really impacts Arena and even then it hardly impacts it as the picks are (usually) obvious.
So this card can summon:
Healing Totem
Searing Totem
Stoneclaw Totem
Wrath of Air Totem
Flametongue Totem
Mana Tide Totem
Vitality Totem
Totem Golem
Which means it's 50/50 between hero power totems and collectible totems (unless more totems are released).
Average stats: 0.4/2.6 (3 total)
So the average statline is 8 stat points for 3 mana. Plus an ability and totem synergy.
and that's just from what we've seen so far. I'm pretty sure there will be at least one other totem before all the cards are revealed
This card is actually insane. Even without Totem Golem being added to the game it was pretty strong but now? Shaman's early-midgame has had a crazy buff. Needed too.
Mana Tide Totem :)
I am so excited about this card... It's about time shamam got a legitimate buff from an expansion.
so basically every shaman deck is going to run this and 2/8 times, they just get a completely ridiculous lead. Just what we need more of in hearthstone!
Yeah, this card is ridiculous. It's that heavy RNG cards category. It's either slightly bad or VERY GOOD. Given it's turn3, it is difference between you control the board or you lose it.
And the worst thing is that I will play it nevertheless. It's not like I have any choice. It's really good in avarage, would be unwise to skip it.
yeah in all seriousness, what do you actually do if they get the totem golem from this on turn 3? How do you actually come back?
Basically the Muster for Battle of Shaman. Blizzard learned from GvG and gives Shaman the same medicine.
I hopw they buff Totemic Might the day the expansion will be released. Not gonna happend, but it could enable some fun semi-competitive totem/inspired decks.
High hopes for this one and the rest of the sham cards. Hopefully we see a real revitalization in competitive shaman class. Not just your textbook warrior, lock, mage, hunter.
So basically the dream is: 1 drop into Totem Golem into Coin + this card into Totemcarver. So you have one or more totems up, a 3/2, 3/4 AND a 6/6
Hahaha ... the down votes are real.
Think of it as a 2 mana 3/2 which lets you play a random totem for 1 mana, including the new Totem Golem, and any other potential new totems in the expansion. At worst it's slightly different Razorfen Hunter, at best it's a 3/2 and a 3/4 totem for 3 mana. Yes, yes, RNG, but it's a decent way for a shaman to get a totem on the board.
Seems like a decent 3 drop, i mean outside of unbound elemental and harvest golem what are you going to be playing on turn 3 with no overload in a mid ranged shaman?
Posting this on day 1, so it might turn out to suck compared to some really good neutral 3 drop or even another shaman card
Yeah, more RNG. Thanks, blizz. We didn't have enough of it.
