How to Get
The normal version of Majordomo Executus is obtained by completing the second wing of Blackrock Mountain, Molten Core. Once obtained, you can craft the golden version for 3200 arcane dust.
Card Clarifications
- Using Alexstrasza on yourself will bump your Hero's Health up to 15. (Zeriyah)
- Healing yourself when you're at 8 (15 with Alex) health will not increase your health any further. (Zeriyah)
- You will not keep your armor upon changing into Ragnaros. (Zeriyah)
- Ragnaros is not considered a Legendary Minion, thus Rend Blackhand will not kill him with his Battlecry. (Zeriyah)
- If a player summons Nefarian, they will receive class cards of the class their opponent came into the game with. (Zeriyah)
- Ragnaros together with Prophet Velen will deal 16 damage.
- If you deal lethal damage to Majordomo Executus and the enemy hero at the same time, the enemy hero loses and Ragnaros is not summoned. (Zeriyah)
- This could be accomplished through Blade Flurry
- If you become Lord Jaraxxus, and then Ragnaros, you will keep your weapon. (Zeriyah)
- Playing the golden version of Majordomo Executus will result in a golden Ragnaros hero.
Other day someone played that card, I was like easy win GG
The card you play when you want to throw away the game! But also fun. But also probably will lose you the game if you're ahead and against a mage or druid.
what you mean o.O ?
I actually like this card unlike most people. It is very powerful and I think it works in priest decks. Divine spirit and it will be hard to kill. It is a good late game finisher. As long as you are not fighting a mage then when it turns to ragnaros you just need some taunts and to finish.
Giving it Divine Spirit doesn't dodge Big Game Hunter last time I checked. Nor does it dodge removal like Execute, Hex, Shadow Word Death, etc. Cynical as this sounds, I don't understand what people are trying to prove by attempting to make this card is viable, because this card is simply too dangerous to play in a meta where any class is capable of killing you with 8 damage.
Hex is completely useless because it will not activate a deathrattle. Plus by turn 9 you should have already baited out most of their removals. If you haven't then you really don't know how to play very well. This card has already been a great help for me to win many matches.
No, you will not blow his Deathrattle. But maybe at that point, you do not want to. Instead of a 9/7, now you just have to deal with a 0/1 taunt. That late in the game, the opponent should be within your win range. If not, the 9/7 is irrelevant, proc or not.
"If you haven't then you really don't know how to play very well", well 'baiting' is only successful to an extent, if your opponent doesn't intend to spend removal anyway, then that doesn't necessarily make you a bad player. I don't follow your logic.
Also, smart players playing against control decks(assuming you play this in control, b/c it doesn't fit anywhere else) are wise enough to not spend all of their removal by turn 9 actually. Either way, I still don't see why you would play it at competitive ranks, 9 mana legendaries should win the game or at least do something of impact when they are played. The funny thing is this card actually puts you in a dangerous position to lose, as you don't play it when you're ahead nor do you play it when you're behind. I haven't even touched upon the fact that this card is utterly useless against aggro. It seems like you're simply thinking this card is good because it has high attack power as a finisher, and while you can probably pull out a win here and there in lesser competitive play, in higher ranks, this card puts you at a disadvantage.
I'm not here to start a fight or flame war but I have been going up ranks all day since I modified my deck with this guy and he is almost in every finishing move ;) I am just saying it works.
dude i already love this guy before you born :D since i see first time jaraxxus and before they even bring naxxramas i love destroy your hero and put someone else xD thats why i have most powerfull warlock deck control jaraxxus deck so can you tell me what deck do you use for that guy ?
Majordomu Execute yourself, unlike your own Sylvanas. Artosis approves. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Armor is considered a part of a hero. Replacing your hero, just as it replaces your health, also replaces your armor. It's a different reset than alexstrasza.
(Here I thought I was the only one who'd played a lot of weird games with jaraxxus handlock)
Well this deathrattle most certainly puts you in immense danger. In competitive CONSTRUCT it takes about 3 to kill the majordomo empty board on sight, leaving your foe enough mana to rush down 8 life. Quite impossible to count on this card to recover life like Alex or Jax.
It's worth mentioning, that replacing the hero resets attack count and does not lose weapon. I tested myself and confirmed that if your weapon has at least 2 durability, you can strike one swing with original hero, then take the form of Ragnaros in your own turn, and strike another shot. Someone already come up with ideas like Doom Hammer quadra strikes. Anyway that's still too hard to complete in competitive game, like you need Thaurissan to cover Majordomo, Reincarnate and Rockbite Weapons to prepare for turn 10 big show.
Each time one of your Majordomo dies you get to use again your Hero ability (as long as you have enough mana).
TOO SOON!
If only Rag would be 8 health 8 armor
dude about 15 and battel cry this is OMG no dam balance and all players take it and control all you son need just this card normal as it is now and put healing card and taunt card you win the match this is deck jaraxxus made from healing and taunt and not big hp diffrent between them i know its dam bad to make it deathrattel still its good point to protect him by taunt protect moajor then you kill him by attack his minons so you get rangros in your turn or kill it by shadowflame or kill it by siphon soul
Not very competitive, but fun to play.
Only been able to use him successfully in Echo Gaints decks or Freeze Mage. Without Ice Block it's too risky.
rank 19 so strunk Kappa
