How to Get
The normal version of Majordomo Executus is obtained by completing the second wing of Blackrock Mountain, Molten Core. Once obtained, you can craft the golden version for 3200 arcane dust.
Card Clarifications
- Using Alexstrasza on yourself will bump your Hero's Health up to 15. (Zeriyah)
- Healing yourself when you're at 8 (15 with Alex) health will not increase your health any further. (Zeriyah)
- You will not keep your armor upon changing into Ragnaros. (Zeriyah)
- Ragnaros is not considered a Legendary Minion, thus Rend Blackhand will not kill him with his Battlecry. (Zeriyah)
- If a player summons Nefarian, they will receive class cards of the class their opponent came into the game with. (Zeriyah)
- Ragnaros together with Prophet Velen will deal 16 damage.
- If you deal lethal damage to Majordomo Executus and the enemy hero at the same time, the enemy hero loses and Ragnaros is not summoned. (Zeriyah)
- This could be accomplished through Blade Flurry
- If you become Lord Jaraxxus, and then Ragnaros, you will keep your weapon. (Zeriyah)
- Playing the golden version of Majordomo Executus will result in a golden Ragnaros hero.
Major-Dont-Tho
Anyone have any luck with Coldarra Drake yet?
3-1 with this deck: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/319161-legendary-execution-inferno-mage (except I'm running Ysera rather than Baron Geddon). It's been really fun and fairly effective so far, very similar in play-style to freeze mage. This deck could be effective at a high level with practice.
Random is random. Steamwheedle will not affect "DIE, INSECT!"
Coldarra Drake, Garrison Commander, Fencing Coach, Maiden of the Lake will all be awesome with Raggy!
EXECUTUS!
I predict that Majordomo will be somewhat more competitively viable in mage after TGT with the addition of Coldarra Drake. The way I see it, decks based solely on Majordomo Executus as a win condition will not succeed as what do you do if he gets silenced? No, instead he will be seen in control-ly sorts of mages as a scary threat. Are you sure you want to kill my Domo? See, I have this Ice Block, and you can't be sure I don't have Coldarra Drake...
You can't exactly think of Ragnaros as having 8 health. You have to think of him as having 15 health but the first 7 can be skipped by Big Game Hunter or other hard removal. And unlike Lord Jaraxxus, you CAN just ignore the Domo and go face if you otherwise have lethal. These are indeed troublesome drawbacks, but in other ways the Domo is stronger than Jaraxxus. The Domo puts a threat on the board the turn he is played which can be used the next turn, whether with the 9 attack or Ragnaros's 8 damage hero power, whereas Jaraxxus's infernals can't attack until 2 turns after you play Jaraxxus. Also, Jaraxxus can't be played with Ice Block and, well, Coldarra Drake.
NONE MAY CHALLENGE THE LIVING FLAME!!
"gets killed"
BY FIRE BE PURGED!
"Ragnaros gets killed also"
Not sure why everyone keeps replying "TOO SOON!" here,we get it people,it's what Rag says when Majordomo summons him.
Edit:I saw similar replies on a few other cards...is this some kind of thing?
They think you get the achievment TOO SOON.
But thats not how you earn it.
The only logical use of this is beating heroic heroes with it by making them Mindgames this and killing them while they are Ragnaros.
How bad is BRM? Here is your answer!
How soon is it?
TOO SOON
i played this card vs a priest...guess what the priest did? he mind controlled it! lol he lost the next turn
would you rather have this or wisp in a deck?
An opponent of mine pulled this from Unstable Portal and lost the game because he played it lol
I put this in my Warlock Deathrattle gimmick deck, just for shits and giggles.
One day, I got him out of a Mill Rouge's Deathlord.
Given that the main removal tools of Mill Rouge is Dagger hits and Saps, I ended up winning.
Just because you can break him with Deadly Poison into Eviscerate, doesn't mean you should.
I'm trying to fit this and Flame Leviathan into my Mage.... JK lolol
