Nice combos with Pyros, Astral Tiger, Anub'arak, Rat Pack, Sergeant Sally, Obsidian Statue, Tirion Fordring, Mechanical Whelp
If it works that way, you go infinite with it.
I can already see a Toast video exploring interactions
Safe golden craft for me!
First look, right off the bat hands down loving it. This looks like it could have been Rogue’s legendary (since the synergy and stuffs).
Wow! Also with Immortal Prelate, you can attach as an enchantment Tirions Deathrattle, Spikeridged Steed and Deranged Doctor. Say hello to my new Thekal Healadin babyyyyyy.
I am sure that you could shuffle this card to the deck but the enchantments will be lost on Da Undatakah - unfortunately as it is not a deathrattle effect.
How positive are you? From my knowledge, if it gains Immortal Prelate's Deathrattle, it would act just like an Immortal Prelate upon death. So next time you play it, it would gain additional Deathrattles on top of the previous Deathrattles, which give you more DEATHRATTLES AHHHHHHHH.
In conclusion, we need to debunk the shlt (Hence I used an L instead of i) out of this card asap.
I wish it worked like that, but this sounds too good to be true, sadly :(
You see, the conclusion that the effects would be lost comes from an interesting view on the card Kingsbane, in which, after some testing, it was possible to come to the conclusion that the "It keeps any enchantments" part of the effect is not actually linked to its deathrattle effect, but was rather an extra card effect attached to the card itself. Said conclusion can be proven correct by the interaction between it and Doomerang, which returns it to your hand with all the enchantments still attached. If we apply the same concept to Immortal Prelate, it'd be possible to deduce that its second effect is actually not part of the deathrattle as well, but rather linked to the card. However, this is all speculation, and, therefore could be wrong. I'm glad if this helped explain the situation a little better, thank you for listening!
I believe that N'Zoth, the Corruptor doesn't summon this card since it actually is not "a deathrattle minion", it just gains deathrattle from it's battlecry
Im crafting this just because the name is awesome!
I'd say not necessarily so.. Methinks that in such a situation a transformed minion hasn't "died" in the game, hence it would be missing from the deathrattle pool that Da Undatakah draws from.
Da Undatakah has interesting implications for the power level of Deathrattle Rogue and Hunter - obviously Necrium Blade and Preparation + Necrium Vial for Rogue, and Play Dead and Terrorscale Stalker for Hunter can dramatically boost the value of this card. I like that the cost is 8 - that will make it a little harder for Hunter to get immediate value out of it than it will Rogue, so we might see a shift there.
If Da Undatakah is good enough, it might also see a shift in the cards being played in some deathrattle decks. For instance, picking up a Carnivorous Cube deathrattle will be a real bummer, so maybe you'd leave out Cube to get more high value deathrattles later in the game with this card. Any time you have a "copy the effect of some other card" (e.g. Seeping Oozeling), you typically want to shrink the pool of targets to ensure powerful results. For this reason, I think that for other classes like Priest that might like this card, the cheap deathrattles with weaker effects that you'd probably want to play (I'm thinking of cards like Crystalline Oracle and Dead Ringer) may mean the pool is too big to make Da Undatakah worth fielding.
Not to mention the new Spirit of the Shark
I am pretty sure Druids will put this in their Hadronox deck just to get another way to copy their wall of taunts.
Hadronox and Astral Tiger would seem like the way to go infinite :o
YOU WILL GO ONE ON ONE WITH DA UNDATAKAH
So glad Dane got a reveal he deserves recognition.
