Blizzard's Off-Meta Deck Spotlight - August 2018 [Priest, Paladin, Warrior]
Once again, Blizzard has posted three Legend decks with above average win rates that you should give a go!
Big Warrior
64.9% win rate/57 games
“Big Warrior” is everything the name would lead you to believe. This deck looks to outlast your opponent until your big guns can make their grand entrance. Whether you call them out with Gather Your Party, or have them arrive in style with The Boomship, this Warrior list has all it needs to go the distance and bash your opponents!

Egg Paladin
66.1% win rate/56 games
This mid-range Paladin deck is egg-cellent at keeping a board presence, so you always have minions to buff. Crack open your eggs and overwhelm your opponent with your ever-growing army. Then look to finish off your opponent by summoning your fallen Mechs with Kangor’s Endless Army.

That Egg Paladin is fantastic. There is a good amount of board clear which helps against aggro. It's well balanced and good against control decks as well.
I played that Warrior. Avoid it. It is not a good deck against any I've faced. Its obviously not meta or ladder but even in casual it just is slow for me. I have to try the others. I excelled at decks I am good with like control.
Big recruit warrior is good. Hit legend with it the last two months. Your opponent never expects getting steamrolled on turn 9.
That's clearly 1 of the reasons it's off meta.. it's expensive, so not a lot of people can play it.
Please, it says off meta. The thing is in high legend there is counter queing and a slower meta, as most people have all the cards. so of course it's not representative of regular ranked decks. The meta is different in high legend.
Look at the amount of games played on all of them though. None have more than 70 games played. VERY deceiving Blizzard!
This Warrior deck sure looks scary, but I think REALLY meta depended.
Why in God almighty’s good name did I get 24 downvotes?! I wasn’t complaining or anything I’m just pointing out FACTS and remember the good old times.
Thank you for making me remember how childish this community is.
Don't bother man. Hpwn community is mostly full of haters and brainwashed people who think blizzard actually cares about what players want and need. I think right now it feels the most that Ben Brode left. He was a guy who was kinda' listening to the player base, even if the game was just as broken as it is now.
and yet you think complaining on a hearthstone based website will make it any better. I think you need a new strategy.

HS sucks atm. My friends leave it till next exp. And that's what happened last exp, but a month before it launches, not a week...
gl gg and for the HS team: please... if u cant handle hearthstone leave your job...
dude, why are you so angry? if you dont like hearthstone than fine, no one cares. i have absolutely no idea what you could have possibly had hoped to gain from this post, it is not interesting, helpful, insightful, or even a decent complaint.
go ahead and uninstall the game, we shall all mourn your loss.
well the egg paladain loook decent not gonna lie
That Big Warrior deck was one of my first thoughts this expansion. The Boomship is a great way to get those minions out of your hand efficiently. The problem with recruit warrior is just having nothing to do until turn six, but if you can find an early Omega Assembly you can actually contest the board slightly. I'm hoping future expansions give us more cheap minion-generating spells to make the deck more viable.
I wouldn't recommend the Warrior deck, that is just Blizzard's way of getting you to buy cards/spend dust, for a deck, that a pro did great with, but for Joe Average Player, it is a 50% deck.
you could say that about most of the decks in the game then ...
ikr?
When I first saw it I thought it was some kind of mistake lol
have all the cards for the worrior deck and im f2p, only need the Boomship :v
Priest's only competitive deck is off meta? I'm not sure if that choice is just really off base or just an example of how bad priest is right now that they used the only meta deck to show a priest deck with a good WR.
