I agree with all your other points, I would be fine seeing this in a discover, but not in my deck. However, I have a bone to pick about [cardGiggling Inventor.
Yes, I know, it's two Annoy-o-Trons in one cad, but I would never go as far to say as it is "the best mech card so far". In fact, I think it is one of the worst cards released as of yet; you would probably only ever see this card in Arena. 5 mana for 2 1/2s with taunt and divine shield is just too much, especially against aggro decks that have a lot of 1 and 2 attack minions like Odd Pally. Your opponent can simply trade out your entire Giggling Inventor on the board itself.
Here's something even more stupid: you suggested running Giggling Inventor in a Big Druid deck with Master Oakheart. I can guarantee that 90% of all players in this game know why that is an absolutely terrible idea unless you think you're better off getting a 2/1 and not a Dragonhatcher into a Primordial Drake. I don't know about you, but a 6/12 is a lot bigger than a 2/1.
You must've misunderstood what I said about Giggling Inventor. I specifically said that Druid would be better of running the dragon package which means Dragonhatcher and no Mechanical Whelp or Giggling Inventor.
I was just saying that in a mech deck it's hard to run both Giggling Inventor and Master Oakheart so you probably need to cut one. Whether Giggling Inventor is actually good is another topic.
Spirit Lash pops Zerek's Cloning Gallery quite well.
Odd pally trading their entire board into two taunts is pretty good for you. Gives you time to stabilise.
meh at first glance but longer you think about it, the better it is.
It seems to be a better version of Skelemancer with mech synergy. Also it's one more card to feed Star Aligner.
This card will probably see play in:
- Mech Warrior with Dr. Boom, Mad Genius
- Mech Paladin with Kangor's Endless Army.
- Mech Hunter with Play Dead and Terrorscale Stalker.
- Deathrattle priest with Reckless Experimenter
I even see this played in egg decks, this is technically an egg in terms of the mechanic.
you can play it on trun 8 with Reckless Experimenter
Wagon? You mean Meat Wagon? I get your point about the Pally legendary spell, but what on earth is a wagon...?
A good card for plenty of combos.
However, it is quite slow, so that the range of actual usage might be more narrow than on paper.
the fact that potion of madness is gone, there might be some hope for this card...
BTW I watched the reveal video for this card... Looks like this card was revealed on a Chinese camgirl site.
When it comes to Arena in most cases it will be a bit better Skelemancer but never ever to be played against Priest. Especially now that Shadow Madness appears very often.
So turn 10 play a Reckless Experimenter, then a Mechanical Whelp, then cube the whelp, end turn, the Carnivorous Cube auto dies, leaving you with a 4/6, a 7/7, and two 2/2's (who will become two more 7/7s). That's 15/17 across 4 bodies with another 14/14 ready to pop up in case of boardclear.
Did I get all that right? Seems pretty decent.
I was trying to work the potential out for this card, i was leaning more towards an oakheart deck or Zerek's Cloning Gallery
just run it in the same deck
Looks like quest priest may be a decent deck in the next expansion, maybe even tier 1.
That's what everybody says every nex expansion, but in this and, no...
But IMO, it's one of the funniest quest to play
Other than the obvious synergy with Mech Warrior, given the pretty good deathrattle I think this will also see play in Mech Hunter. Very solid card.
Awww... I wanted to be the one to make that quip ^_^U
