u don't know what u b talkin' 'bout... :)
vote 4 <label class="pds-feedback-label">Purple </label>
Sorry to everyone who picked Kolento. I’ve garenteed you will all get 1 pack.
I remember voting Thijs once - got 1 TGT pack. 1 legend, 2 rares, golden epic. Wasn't that bad ;)
yeah, I agree... I love Kolento... but hes form is tot off now... :/
Thijs 1 pack- that was my fault as well.
I voted for Dr Hippi when he went on his run a while back, I got like 6 packs. All of them were 40-dusters except like one had 2 rares in it.
I don't like Orange decision to bring a Face Hunter into this tournament, but he might succeed in his group. Same goes for Hoej with his Murloc Paladin. For that reason I picked Purple even though his group has strong players.
i'll choose 1packlento
I'll stay true to my previous vote and because i am Canadian, so Purple.
Well I said about "true to my previous vote", I didn't vote for DocPwn previously...
I think ShtanUdachi is the front runner. He's a good player, solid decklist. He's the Pavel of the bunch.
GODLENTO
I'd recommend people to take a look at each group and try to decide who the strongest player is, and how strong their lineups are (and if their lineup can really exploit the ban they will make)
Another thing to have into account is wether you want to go for a moderate but safe number of packs or a high but risky number of packs
As an example, if you pick a player from a group that only has 10/10 players, while one of them is favoured to win the tournament, being the winner of the group is more challenging, so it's a high risk high reward situation.
However, if you pick an 8 in a group where the rest are 6's, he's more favoured to be the winner of the group, although not necessarily of the tournament, which is the moderate but safe option.
That's the way I see it at least
I'm not done yet but here's my preliminary examination:
Most people have a target warlock or priest lineup ("target" is a strong word. I guess "not auto lose to therefore ban the other one" is more accurate). Some have a plan to target either jade druid or rogue on top of that. Jade druids will have a really tough time getting through any of these counter decks, unlike rogue, where highrolls are built in the deck and games won't last long enough to consistently draw your tech cards. But it seems like only 6/16 people have jade druid so these lineups are really going to be hit or miss
Personally, I'd avoid both people bringing jade druid and those targeting it. Jade druids are going to run into counters eventually and counters and going to run into people banning priest. Likewise, I don't like counter rogue lineups because they can run into prince + shadowsteps and lose their counter. If I had to pick now, it'd be between Purple, Hoej and Muzzy but I really need some more time to analyze the lineups and brackets
I completely agree with you about jade druid, i'm not convinced about it.
So far, I'm leaning towards Hoej, I think he's been getting better results in tournaments lately
they all brought almost the same decks though so it's just who has the most luck just vote for your favorite.
