Perdition's Blade is actually pretty fine, it's a bit situational, but it's still playable imo
By received I meant in an expansion/adventure. Shadowblade was the only good one given since vanilla.
I can now get my golden rogue hero. Finally!
This is actually kind of insane, besides being an alright tempo play for Rogue on one, with some setup this could actually be really strong. In Standard, you have Deadly Poison, Leeching Poison, Envenom Weapon, Southsea Squidface, Naga Corsair and Captain Greenskin, (in Wild you have Buccaneer, Tinker's Sharpsword Oil and Goblin Auto-Barber to play with as well) which is a 12/4 weapon with Poisonous and Lifesteal (RIP Deathwing) that you can reshuffle forever, and can also resist fatigue if you Dagger Mastery after attacking with it each turn. With enough draw, this might actually be a consistent source of Rogue healing, and since Rogue has enough bounce effects and other ways to get extra buffs, (Upgrade! and Bloodsail Cultist come to mind versus Warrior, but you can also get Squidfaces back from N'Zoth, or extra cards with Thistle Tea or Mimic Pod) this might actually be a really strong card. How exactly you'd go about building a control Pirate deck to take advantage of all this synergy I'm not sure, but this is going to be one of the first decks I try to make work in K&C for sure. Which also means I think I know which weapon I want for free now as well :)
for basic you only need *2 Deadly poison,*2 Squid face ,*2 Naga Coursair , 1 each for leeching poison and Envenom .
Also maybe we can see the comeback of Blade Flurry. Because Kingsbane doesn't lose any buff it receive and can be re-equip after destroy. With just 1-2 buff on it ,BF can turn in to 4 mana flame strike or 4 mana board wipe.
For one mana this is so awesome. I think this creates a whole new deck for rogues!
this is a good card, but I think a single card has to be a bit more powerful to make a whole new deck
When you think about it, it's just a single card in this expansion but a lots of supporting cards in the previous ones.
All the weapon buffs become permanent on this and as long as you keep drawing it you can really go off. Deadly Poison now it's a 3/3 weapon... Leeching Poison becomes a 3/3 lifesteal..... Envenom Weapon now it kills anything it touches... oh and not to mention Doomerang not only puts a fresh copy back in your hand, but ALSO puts another copy into your deck.
I'm not saying it's going to be a tier 1 or even tier 2 deck, but it's definitely a card your build a deck around.
Doomerang doesnt work with deathrattle i guess
Probably pretty insignificant, but this allows more controlling rogues to shuffle several cards into their deck to get a fatigue advantage.
You have an infinite anti-fatigue play with this and Dagger Mastery each turn, since you can attack with Kingsbane then hero power to shuffle it back into your deck and draw it the next turn. It still kind of works with Valeera the Hollow in a way, as you can copy a Kingsbane once you hit fatigue and then sort of alternate playing and drawing the buffed and the basic 1/3 one, but still attack with the buffed each turn.
Oh yeah, hadn’t thought of that. Means if you get to fatigue stage, you can realllly lock the game down, constantly drawing a monster weapon and reshuffling it.
holy mother of !!!! Blizzard - why you do this????
Finally, blade flurry has been avenged :D
Turn 1 this weapon. Turn 2 poision into Dread Corsair.
Make Blade Flurry great again!
I...I don't believe it. The promised land. The reason why Blade Flurry was nerfed, and it's beautiful.
Rogues finally have a weapon they can use in constructed. Not only that, but it brings Deadly Poison back into the meta. If that wasn't enough, it makes Envenom Weapon and Leeching Poison actually viable now.
Oh, and imagine this:
but with Kingsbane instead of Poisoned Blade! :)
