The Rogue Death Knight has been revealed by Savjz!

- You can never have more than one Shadow Reflection in your hand.
- Shadow Reflection leaves your hand at the end of your turn, so it only works on 5 mana cards or less. (Source)
- Effects that invoke Mana Cost reduction will not be copied by Shadow Reflection. (Like Emperor Thaurissan ticks, Preparation, Shadowstep.)
- Remember how Stealth works! If you wish to attack, do attack BEFORE using this Hero card.

#2: He meant the other way around. You cast Preparation, then, for example, Vanish for 3. Shadow Reflection first becomes Preparation, then Vanish, which you still have the mana for.
For Concern 3, I don't think Hero cards would be discoverable or obtained from random effects. The only possible way is probably with Pries as it could get copies of opponent's quest using Mind Vision, Thoughtsteal, etc.
Double vanish, op op.
Mindbreaker has a slot in this deck. Denay opponent's hero power sounds cool 😎
There is no wonder this is such a great designed card but by ''ton of cheap spells'' I guess you meant only one extra spell/card :P Because the value is very limited with this card.
Ahhh
I mean, the effect is very interesting, but I have no idea how it will interact with other decks and the meta

The video shows it copying the first card played, and shadow reflection only works once per turn in that example video. Unless leeroy was already on the board before, I don't understand how you can play leeroy+cold bloodx3 in one turn.
edit- nevermind I think I get it. Everytime you play a card, it transforms. You can transform it multiple times per turn? The video example didn't really show him playing more then one card.
By far the weakest Hero replacement.
But I'm glad we didn't get some bullshit Hero Power like: ''Passive: all your minions are 5/5 for the rest of the game.''
Wait, where did I hear that? Ah, people were saying the same about the rogue quest :D
...but yeah, it seems this time the rogue special legendary card sucks
Yeah I was thinking about Caverns, so it may very well turn out to be game-breaking after all.
But at first glance this seems more manageable than a constant stream of 5/5s.
I think I'm missing something else (other than some or all of my marbles). Given that this is a passive ability, won't it ensure that you always have a Shadow Reflection in hand until end of turn, even if you cast the first one? The "rules" only say the hero power creates a Shadow Reflection as a passive effect, you can't have more than one at a time, and you discard it at the end of turn. So it should keep creating them during the turn - this would put it at the same power level as the other heroes, I think, and would be in keeping with the "miracle" theme.
The video shows a Reflection being added to the hand after Valeera is played, so this is not a "beginning of turn" trigger. The correct way to play that hand is to play the first zero-cost giant, play the Reflection copy, get another "blank", play the second giant, play the second reflection. Look out Edwin VanCleef and Gadgetzan Auctioneer! Assuming you survive until turn 9 and don't die on turn 11, that is...
Regardless, it's clearly possible to create an infinite Shadowcaster loop for 6 mana. Original Shadowcaster costs 5, so copy something (eg Reno Jackson), then play the Reflection Shadowcaster to copy the Shadowcaster. You now have a 1/1 Shadowcaster in hand (and presumably a "blank" Shadow Reflection, but no mana). Next time you need to do this you play the cheap Shadowcaster to copy something useful, play the Reflected copy to copy it and then you have 4 mana to actually do something. Copy Kazakus and Reno Jackson seems like a win condition to me in Wild, as does making a stream of Ancient Ones in Standard.
It doesn't work that way. The Reflection doesn't start out as a copy of anything, as shown in the video around 1:20. So, yes, you can deal 6 to the face with Sinister Strike, but that's it. The next Reflection won't become a Sinister Strike unless you have another "real" one in hand (eg from Mimic Pod etc).
And who said using one card wasn't enough to kill people in Hearthstone? Have you not watched Archmage Antonidas kill people with infinite Fireballs created off an initial, completely unrelated spell?
It must be me, but her chest looks a lot less stealthy than the card suggests...
does the battlecry give your minions stealth or the hero? do anti stealth mechanics work on the hero?
interesting card nonetheless! theorycrafting this one should be fun
Yes You can. As well as damage from sources like arcane missiles, hell fire or Shadow Strike.
really hard to evaluate, I guess this is kinda like having a permanent chromagus effect. Don't think it's worth 9 mana tbh to stall a turn cause your opponent will now have essentially 2 turns to develop even if they can only hit you once.
It might be slow but rogue has a lot of removals (poisonous and destroy a minion tech cards). Also if u are worried that after playing this for 9 mana, the opponent will just swarm the board bcuz rogue doesnt have that much AOE clear, always save Vanish to clear the board then summon your giants or jades on your favor.
It does look like she belongs in Hueco Mundo
