Horkinger posted a message on should i dust my wild legendarys?Posted in: General DiscussionJust be aware that you really decrease your possibilities. And that you do not get good value for your cards. Essentially, you Change four old (wild) legendaries into one new. You will constantly lose value by DE wild legendaries. Additionally, you can use them in adventures (like the frozen throne challenge or heroic modes) and often also in brawl (or sometimes heroic brawl). And there already were a couple of People stating their regret that they dusted everything.
But if you're really desperate and you're sure you will never use them, do it (and there also were People who claimed they did not regret DE wild Cards). I wouldn't do it but it's your collection.

RavenSunHP posted a message on New Paladin Card Reveal: Grimestreet EnforcerPosted in: NewsThis one is an immediate tempo loss, but since it calls for immediate removal, it is likely to cause a tempo loss also for your opponent, or a sub-optimal play in most cases.
So tempo is likely neat, while your hand got an important buff.
It will shine if you are already ahead on the board. Risky play otherwise.

RavenSunHP posted a message on Is the Leeroy PO Faceless combo healthy for HS?Posted in: General DiscussionIt is a 3-card combo that deals 20 damage. And requires Emperor ticks.
It's not unique at all and nothing unfair or to worry about.
Simply because it doesn't seem to break the meta. It is just a good option for a very solid deck.
See also Prophet Velen + 2x Mind Blast. It is pretty much the same thing.

RavenSunHP posted a message on What's on Your Hearthstone Wishlist for Next Year?Posted in: News- Revamp of old basic but currently useless cards like Ironforge Rifleman (making it equal to Disciple of C'Thun would be good already).
- A more regular ladder. Longer to climb but harder to fall deep down (= less stress from defeat, and somehow more rewarding for trying new stuff in the middle of the climb-up).
- A more Inn-like interface (instead of the current Jumanji-like one).
- and Stablemaster with reversed stats and taunt (stats-based Beastmaster is boring).

RavenSunHP posted a message on Developer Insights Live - Year of the Mammoth Q&APosted in: News"Buffing cards doesn't feel like there is a good upside. They'd rather add new cards in the future."
Sure thing. What they are missing tho is of no secondary importance: cards do have a NAME and a PICTURE.
Having eg. Ironforge Rifleman in its current state is simply unbearable.
That card, as well as many others, deserves to be at the very least playable.
We are not asking all cards to be meta-defining or best-in-slot or very good, either. Just playable is enough.
This philosophy, applied on Basic cards, would also soften beginners' transition from their protected environment into the jungle of casual and ladder. -

Aggro could actually use this in Wild as a tech against Big Priest?!
It severely hinders the reliability of Resurrect :O

I'd say probably not... That sounds very unlikely considering Mustard, Stand Against Darkness and Lost in the Jungle don't.

Summons Felhunter (6 mana 6/6 Demon)
Even if the cards see no play, I gotta say they look pretty good artwise. The way they evolve is lovely!

Well, it's not a skeleton...

Note that it loses Stealth after it deals any damage, so it can only clear the board once before it loses stealth. As such, usually it's a better idea to go with Emperor Cobra rather than Giant Wasp for the extra health. Unless the board is empty when it deals 1 damage all around, the stealth is meaningless and +1 health could help dodge some removal.

Well... It's not a minion, so it draws it.

If there are 3 minions on the board (With over 1 health), Whirlwind+this = a 2 card Dread Infernal, so you need there to be around 5 minions before it's worth it. I woulnd't say it's great, but I don't think it's awful either. However, at that point it's a 5 mana 8/8, which is the same as a Sea giant in that situation. I'd argue it needs to ramp harder to be playable, or start as 4/4 at least.

I actually use Drain Life in my Wild Malygos deck, even if it is very weak. Pretty fun though, but wished they just gave Drain Life Lifesteal...

Really disappointing. Fluffy Ice Dragon >>>>>>> Cobalt Scalebane

Why wouldn't we? The infinite value of Wisp plus the beast synergy of Bloodfen Raptor, this card is INSANE! It's basically the new patches, but it's okay since it's super cute!
