Omega Defender is released for one month and you wanna have a prediction about the next 1,5 years in standard? I guess, it will see plays. It's already ok in even warlock and shudderwock decks. When the trinity of valueness is rotating out (ungoro, frozen thrones, catacombs), you need new value cards. And 4 mana 2/6 taunt is ok, 4 mana 10/6 taunt is very good. I wouldn't disenchant it now...
Thanks to Thijs, he tries out new decks, which are interesting to play. The other decks are ladder crap with +1/2 changes, which make them not unique imho. Let me guess, zoolock could work as well with leeroy for one doomguard. Surprise surprise
But that's not the fault of the post (as always good work), it's the fault of the meta.
If there would be a 1 Mana 5/5 minion and a 1 Mana 5 dmg board clear, every aggro player wants a nerf for the board clear. If powercreep players doesn't play around and doesn't put in a tech card, it's their own fault

Legend card back in low rank are almost always tier 1 aggro decks with autoplays and dumb decisions. In wild a golden warrior hero is always pirate. So I know, I have to mulligan for my board clears.
When I startet 3 years ago, my target was rank 15. I created decks for my own and played vs other beginners with their decks. Nowadays there are only players with experience and big collection. The missing pieces get crafted for the tier 1 decks. These are "easy" to play and consistent. So the skill gap is smaller. I'd say 80% of matches are decided by match up and draws/mulligan, 20% skill. Additionally you need 5 stars for ranking up.
So yeah, it's much harder. Really good players, which Im not, have maybe more influence, even with bad draws than these guessed 20%
Giggling inventor is annoying in a Baku deck, cause you cannot trade the protected minions, and a board clear (ex. defile, psychic Stream, nether) remains two 1/2s on board for magnetize or fungalmancer. And THAT is the problem. I would change fungal into 4 mana with 1/2 stats and battlecry +1/2.

Worst crafts:
- Tirion Fordring, cause I got him two days later out of a pack. (double legys time)
- 2x Clockwork Giant, again two days later, there was the announcement of Naga Sea Witch nerf.
Best crafts:
- N'Zoth, the Corruptor, I played him, play him and always will play him
- 2x Primordial Drake, I lplayed a lot of dragon decks, control decks, quest warior decks, etc. He was staple in so many of my decks

I also play Starlight combo in wild, but without Brewmaster. Dirty Rat, Deathlord, Armour up's, Ice Block, Demonic Project, and sometimes Sylvanas Windrunner or Obsidian Statue counter the deck. Aggro deck as well, if you haven't the required draw. Even Shaman, Odd Pally and other decks are at 60-65% win rate as well. And draw one card to get a higher win chance is the same as with Prince Keleseth.
