So the secret of seas is not the name. Maybe everyone would write shortly "SOS" and this would be too obvious about the current situation of hearthstone. I'm little excited now. But next year without the trinity of powerlevel (ungoro, frozen, catacombs), the game could redefine, and therefore I'm REALLY excited.
I don't ladder anymore. Last month I was the first time since 2015 not up to rank 15, cause I only do the daily quests in tavern brawl or wild. I had 5 wins for the card back and that's it. I hope, that the game brings fun back, so I am allowed to complain ;)
I never disentchant a single card, which I haven't at least twice (ex. nerfed cards with dust refund), still hold a golden Bolvar Fordragon. So maybe I am not the average player and have a card base for ideas of monthly rotations. But I would like to work with them, which is not possible, if dominant wild decks won't change (jade, even shaman, big priest, controllock since a year - the only new deck was nerfed) and standard has limited design. Of course there are sometimes still new decks, like ressurect priest or now big mage, but in few days later everyone plays them and it gets boring againThere should be something different.
Arena is similar to netdecking. Every card is valued by some software and maybe you switch 2-3 times to the second best option. And "go play arena" shouldn't be the alternative for boring 2nhalf month periods of bored netdeck meta grinding.
I like the idea and yes, it could be a solution for the main issue: netdecking
To create a solid deck requires time or money and people cannot test ideas, if they have not the cards. So they let test out the decks of someone else, that they can be sure, that their ressources are well invested. But if there is a monthly rotation, a deck cannot stabilize and a meta cannot be settled. Players would have to find an idea, how to build up a deck with their cards, cause the investment is not worth for one month. That is frustrating.
So due to the cost issue, the dust costs should reduce and/or the dust refund should be higher. People should try out, should be creative how to build a deck. But that's not possible, if they have to dust 80% of their cards to create a netdeck. They lose their card pool, they don't create cards, which are interesting but not (yet) successful, and as result everyone is bored to play and see the same decks and the most expensive paper stone scissor game.
They could nerf GI, if there would be other options. Rotten Applebaum had issues with the silence meta, and it will appear again, if GI wouldn't see plays. I think 2 2/2 taunts without divine would be ok, or all 3 with 1/1 stats, but at 7 mana you already lost.
And Aviana: I play a combo of Aviana + Kun + Rag + Cube the Rag + Ixlid +Faceless + Deathwing. That was awesome, but starlight+melon+ramp/draw/armor stuff destroy such moments, and the key for these cool decks get the nerf.
Zoolock and odd paladins will be happy. Once again, Blizzard don't unterstand their game. They nerfed the wrong cards.
Aviana + Kun were combo pieces and that's ok. But the draw and armor options were ridicolous.
Mana Wyrm is ok, but let the coin as second player not be a spell or card count in general would be way better. Coin win rate of rogues and mages are wayyy higher than without coin.
Giggling was the only neutral effective counter to aggro. The useage in aggro decks is based on fungalmancer, which is now even more problematic. 7 Mana? Serious?
I spent a +1000 euros in 3,5 years, cause it was my number one game. So, no money anymore for you.
Look at the winrate of odd pally, even shaman, burn mage, odd pirate rogue, starlight druid, etc. There are many powerful decks. Deal with it and stop crying or don't play wild.
I would be more happy about a neutral card steal option as steady counter for combo decks, like BGH or Harrison are relevant from time to time. But so, it slows down the game more, more minion and stats interaction and less face bursting or all-time board clearing. think the classic cards are ok. Nothing to use dust for, but if drawn it is still ok.
Wild should have a monthly rotation through the sets. So you have a monthly new meta, shouldn't worry about a special combo of different sets (like Aviana+Kun+Bran+X) and don't need to nerf anything.
Additional there should be a non-competitive mode (maybe not rewarding, too) where you can use everything, no matter if you own the cards or not.

I know. The idea came with blizzcon, but i had no time before. I thought it would be a funny hint to diablo announcement, but appearently it wasn't...

warlock 3 mana 2/6, battlecry: discard all 1 mana minions :(

I thought they would already be in the game but no one would play them. Lul
