posted a message on The Rogue Quest, The Caverns Below, is OP. Nerf it already.

Hi everyone, new to the thread.  Are people talking about the difference between OP and non-interactive?  It seems like OP means win rate is too high, but I don't think that's true of Quest Rogue across all ranks and match-ups.  I think, based on draws and matchup, it either wins or loses with such inevitability and lack of interaction from opponent that it just doesn't feel right, which is still a valid reason for a nerf.

posted a message on why are you not rewarded for playing the game ?

I was just ranting about this in a slightly different way.  My take is that the incentives all revolve around winning, and that's a problem and why there's so much salt.  But you're right too about ignoring loyalty and newbs.  Need more creativity in game modes.

I think the problem runs deeper -- people are people and they suck, but it's more noticeable in this game.  I've always thought this game is too based on winning and grinding.  There's just no built-in incentive to play if you don't win.  Ladder is an oppressive, grindy mood-killer.  Dailies and brawls almost always demand that you win.

As fun as Un-Goro can be, I do get in ruts where I can't seem to win no matter what I do.  It's making people mad everywhere, and this is what you start to see.  If they can do for game modes what Un'Goro seems to have done for cards, it will do wonders.  But if they continue to show little innovation in game modes I think they're headed for big long term trouble.

There's got to be some inventive way to play not based on winning a head-to-head matchup, it's just a salt factory.

Lots of salt makes people say funny things.

YES!  I scream it every time it comes up.  Though very trivial, it's by far the most non-sensical, bewildering decision they've ever made with this game.  Take away the one emote sometimes used with true sincerity.  I think they must truly want players to be as salty as possible.

I rope and play a defensive/stalling strategy the instant I get one BM.  Can't help it.  Every once in awhile I'll get a concede from a control deck that will likely beat me, but they won't spend the time.  Those are the best.  This might not be healthy.

    ...

Imo the most underrated card so far is Piranha Launcher

    Surely, you can't be serious.

I'm not saying it's a great card, i'm saying it's the most underrated card. 40% "bad" 40% "dust it" THAT is not serious.
Surely the right response is "I am serious, and don't call me Shirley."

People should stop complaining about people complaining. When you are one of those people who think brawl is the only thing fun about this game anymore, having a boring repeat AGAIN when a lot of fun brawls have never been repeated is definitely something worth complaining about.

I know different people like different brawls, but when are they redoing underdog rules for example? Now that was a brawl I played for hours and hours, and so many new cards have been added (and nerfed! Looking at Molten Giant here) that it is worth revisiting.

Also where are the brawls with deckbuilding rules like the challengestone one? Those seem the easiest to make to me, and I love those as well.

Also also, where is the kill yourself brawl?? I thought that's what they made Cursed Blade for!

Because the complainers, probably without realizing it, are really always saying "Blizzard sucks for not doing exactly what I want".  And that is worthy of complaining about.
I would really like more constructed ones too, though.  Blizzard sucks!

I have a nice simple solution for you.  Don't.  Play.  Tavern Brawl.

They can't get feedback from here because it's all knee-jerk ranty posts from people who assume everyone agrees with them.
