All you people complaining about your entire deck being destroyed, stop playing the game for a while and come back when someone more intelligent than you has created a great deck and you can just mooch off of their success.
why do the lucky players always bm? Played against three odd mages in a row with rush warrior, it's not a great matchup for me but i'm kicking ass in each of them. Odd control mage is missing 4 fucking boards clears and these people have the audacity to bm because they top deck dragons fury on turn 5 and flamestrike on turn 7, oh and to top it off top deck jaina on turn 9. It's one thing if they've held onto their hand until then but these people at rank 4-5 are playing like some rank 25 or casual players with no concept of what control is. Don't get me wrong i love control decks but at some point these people need to just fucking die in their sleep for using netdecks. The majority of hearthstone players are so fucking lazy to not try to come up with a deck of their own it makes me sick. I understand that you need to play the meta to get whatever rank you want and then you can "mess around" but for the love of god even when these people hit legend they still play the same boring shit.
So I've been playing with rush warrior quite a bit since the expansion because its in a good spot right now competitively and i was thinking after using some of these new overkill cards that overkill should still apply if the minion you're attacking has already been damaged. For instance with cards like Sul'thraze, Akali'the Rhino, and Oondasta can lead to some pretty awesome combos but for me especially with Sul'thraze it seems to fall short when trying to clear or partially clear a board with big health minions. The example i just ran into was against a druid that got 3 1/5 taunts from Spreading Plague and i used bladestorm to knock them to 4 health and thought i was going to clear them all but it just made me think the only times i've gotten good clears with that weapon is mainly against aggro decks with small health minions.
Anyone feel that overkill should still apply if you kill the target after it has already been damaged or is overkill good the way it is?
In my opinion Mass Hysteria a 10x better card than Psychic Scream maybe this was obvious to others before the release but i don't how this card is considered a rare not only to mention it costs 2 less mana and acutally gets rid of minions most of the time. I still think Psychic Scream has its uses as far as stalling players from getting the necessary cards but as far as board clears go in the game right now it might be the best one based on cost efficiency and overall effectiveness.
Has anyone else felt that this card is going to be a mainstay in just about every priest deck for the next year and a half?
So I just lost a game that i was in complete control of against a spell hunter who was being fatigued. On what should have been my final turn I couldn't use any of my cards. They would not place on the battlefield and i only had three minions out there. the cards were highlighted as if i could play them but they wouldn't work. So i tried to close the game really quick and restart hearthstone to only load back in after i had apparently been roping and wasted 3 turns while the guy came back and won. I've seen the issue before with floating cards but i've only seen that with my opponents. Has anyone else experienced something similar because i've never had this happen before and I've played a lot on mobile and on my computer.
I can tell you thats useless,if you copy a 12 attack lifesteal kingsbane from your oppenents deck with Benedictus.
You're getting the basic kingsbane with 1/2 stats.
This is 100% false I'm sorry but I've copied multiple buffed up kingsbanes in a single game. and the way to do it is either ooze and benedictus or if you steal kingsbane from a crystalline oracle then you can play kingsbane early and try to steal some buff cards.
Useless vs spell hunter which are 50% of the ladder now lol
well i can tell you that I've played against a lot of spell hunters and i only lost to one so far this expansion with quest priest because you finish the quest, play benedictus or steal from crystalline oracles and you might get lucky getting either rexxar or zul'jin, There's even a few games where I've gotten two Zul'jin's and one rexxar. Anyways Talanji comes into play once you have some good dragons from bone drake deathrattles or you've been able to play rexxar and your hand is loaded up with zombeasts.
I pulled her from a pack and I am really looking forward to trying out my thief priest deck again. Might go full meme and rock Dragon Soul too
I'm thinking about creating that type of deck too. I've mostly been playing quest priest the only decks i've lost to are maly druid, shudderwock and a few face hunters which were all insanely lucky but right now talanji is basically a lesser tess greymane because you have to let the cards sit in your hand instead of being able to play a ton of 1-costs and then replay them with tess. however priest has way better survivability than rogue so i'm hoping the deck can really take off.
In my opinion this card will bring priest back to a very competitive state. Talanji can effectively fill your board with huge threats from cards like Crystalline Oracle or Bone Drake. For example i was able to pull out 36 mana worth of minions resulting in a board of Talanji, Ysera, Nozdormu, and tundra rhino with lifesteal (zombeast), this was also before i even needed to play Amara. A lot of the time when quest or thief priest were able to get decent minions into their hand they couldn't play them in time for it to matter especially when opponent is just smorc'ing. I've also been experimenting with the soulflayer in this deck but be careful with this card.
Been playing version of control and disrupt warlock for the last season and a half and discovered that Glinda Crowskin and the Gurubashi Offering make for a pretty great fatigue strategy as well as huge burst survivability against decks that don't have board clear options, (cough cough) Odd Rogue and Paladin.

In two of my 3 games vs control paladins I've been able to create infinite Lynessa's because of seance and a few stolen buff cards. So much fun
