AntonAmby posted a message on Blizzard is Considering Options for Druid - More Information this WeekPosted in: NewsList of Changes:
Changing Ultimate Infestation to 5 mana to fit the soul of the card, it will also ressurect 5 friendly minions that died this game to make it even more flavorful.
Starfall being changed to 4 mana to more closely match cards such as Fireball and Consecrate.
Jade Blossom will now give you a Excess Mana card if played on 10 mana so it's more consistent with Wild Growth.
Force of Nature and Grove Keepers nerfs have been reverted. - We believe this will increase their playability and therefore indirectly decrease the playability of other druid cards which have been seen in decks with high frequencies. -

Infirc posted a message on There should be more super powerful 10 mana cards for each class.Posted in: General DiscussionI see a lot of people complaing about Ultimate Infestation, and it actually befuddles me, we finally have a 10 mana card that doesn't suck balls while being stand-alone instead of build-around and is not dependant on the card pool, just think of it, the reason people never played high mana win conditions on the past since the Yogg nerf is because all of them have sucked monkey balls, N'zoth doesn't revive any high quality deathrattle in standard because there aren't any, nzoth decks haven' been competitive in forever, c'thun is actually very unreliable, and y'shaarj is as likely to pull a taunt or a doomsayer because of random, while aggro kept getting broken 1 and 3 drops and bitttertide hydra and massively powerful murloc and pirate sinergy which peaks at 4 mana .
Just think about it people no longer play aggro just because it's cheap, in fact unless you count token shamman, it's been long since aggro has been cheap, token druid, Pirate warrior and murloc Paladin use a hefty amount of epics and legendaries, so why did people craft those aggro decks if their cost was similar to some control decks anyways?, the answer is easy, the ladder system rewards aggro, and the high mana win conditions are almost non-existant, people didn't craft control decks with high mana win conditions because objectively there was nothing to craft other than fun timmy builds , so we finally have a stand-alone 10 mana card that's worth our time and investment and you guys are losing your heads, when if anything every class should have a 10 drop with the power of Ultimate Infestation, aggro players have been having fun since forever with broken 1 drops, it's time for players who enjoy high mana win conditions to have their turn at having fun.

Galivan posted a message on Leeching Poison + Blade flurry doesnt work, intended?Posted in: General DiscussionLeeching poison buds the weapon. So when the weapon delays DMG, it will heal. But here the weapon breaks, and the spell deals the damage

Urungulu posted a message on Have drop chances insanely improved after patch?Posted in: General DiscussionYou're probably riding the RNG wave. I had a similar thing with MSoG and Un'Goro packs, didn't really open much and got most cards from that expansion. I even got a few packs with double legendaries etc.
As of now, it's a draught for me, as I've opened around 75 packs and got only 3 legendaries (including Hadronox, fml).

The initial situation was, that Asia (who got the Season-start first) had like 26 Legend Players in the first 30 minutes of the ladder reset, due to the fact, that each win grants you 5 stars (= 1 rank) (and you lose 5 stars for a loss). As a legend player, you start a rank 4 with 0 stars, so a winstreak of 4 games was enough to reach legend.
That and the situation, that some players weren't set to "Previous Rank - 4", but to rank 25.
So they stopped rank play on all regions until this issue is resolved.

Sitting on 30 HP+26 Armor and still losing to a Razakus Priest in ONE FUCKING TURN ... WTF?!?!

6 Mana Atiesh ... I like it.

Got crushed once or twice by this deck ... not because it's that good, but because I didn't expect anyone playing this shit and therefore mulliganed for a completely different matchup (e.g. razakus)

Guess what? Blizzard may after all be a profit-oriented corporation?
I don't really know what the fuzz is all about. These actions described in the patent are basically todays marketing/ecommerce 101 and every crappy webshop out there does things like that to encourage people buying more of their shit.
And to be honest: I'd like the idea, that if spend money on one of those fancy weapons in destiny, go into matchmaking and have the game put me in a match, where I can get a positive experience with the weapon I just bought.
You'll always have the choice of not spending money. And if the game ends up "pay-to-win" and you are not willing to pay ... just don't play it. Your world won't end, if you don't.

The pity counter guarantees you at least 1 legendary card every 40 packs.
There is one exception: you will receive at least one legendary in the FIRST 10 packs you open per expansion.

Pint-Size Potion + Shadow Word: Horror ?

Deck has not the best winrate, but it's still one of the most fun I had in hearthstone in the last couple of days.
Faced a Priest and I pulled of a Howlfiend-Combo after he put Acolyte of Pain as well as some other small minions on the board ... watching him discard Shadowreaper Anduin, Prophet Velen, Mind Control and Dragonfire Potion in one turn was easily the most satisfying thing I have ever seen in hearthstone!
Bloodreaver Gul'dan, Destroyer of Dreams! ;-)
