Nickosaurus posted a message on GlidePosted in: GlideLook at the responses the community has towards these cards blizzard. These are the people that are actually playing the game and this card just ruins the experience for so many players. Paladin is literally getting an 8 mana 3/12 rush. Whoopee. Dont leave too many good cards for him. Meanwhile dh is getting cards which either ruin your opponents hand or yoinks an important removal card out of your hand, along with getting information on the rest of your cards. Its as if blizzard is supporting this brainless face smashing meta, and its just such bullshit. Havent seen a single healing card besides that garbage druid minion. But even with healing, any control deck matching up with a dh might as well just auto concede with 2 glides in the opponents deck. Is that the kind of fun interactive gameplay you were hoping for, blizzard?

CheezdudeL posted a message on GlidePosted in: GlideMy biggest issue with this card is that it's introducing hand destruction. There was overdraw, which in itself was a valid strategy, but no card that can just remove cards from your opponents hand. I'm afraid I do not like the direction this card is leading.

Blue_Lightning posted a message on GlidePosted in: GlideI honestly am surprised, that the developers are taking these steps. From a business stand point they should know, that the money is in the control decks (it's called 'wallet warrior' for a reason). Everybody can drum up an aggro hunter deck for 2k dust but there were always two or three upper tier control decks for 10k dust to keep these decks in check. And people paid to have those super strong legendaries. I don't understand how they are willingly creating a meta, where control decks are at an even bigger disadvantage with a card like this. And not only are people not spending money on packs to get good cards or dust for expensive decks some are turning away from the game with no looking back, because aggro meta is just plain boring.

HeadHunterHS posted a message on GlidePosted in: GlideYou know, I played since Naxxramas and with introduction of DH the game has gone to shit. Like what is this card? Who even comes up with this bullshit? Basically now control is obliterated and we must play aggro only and hit face till we win at turn 5? This feels like a heroic boss has been added as a class to play with other 9 normal classes. Deeply disappointed in this expansion. I mean, one day this would happen. Can't be playing Hearthstone forever with massive p2w walls. Before it was at least worth pre-ordering, as we can all agree, only for the hero. Now it seems it will be all aggro or tilt only. There is no more fun building, as DH stomps anything of lesser power levels. Like, there is no way to balance this card, it should have just not been printed at all.
Don't really know why I am even writing this. Probably because I am going miss the good times I spent in this game and on this site for years.
Un'goro has been the best times. Wishing nerves of steel for those who will deal with this. For now, goodbye. -

Posted in: GlideA card that completely obliterates the control?
Well fuck this game definitely not buying anything from this expansion and probably getting out of this game all together.
Even more outraging than divine favor which btw should have been nerfed years ago.

Estraven31 posted a message on GlidePosted in: GlideI agree with you, it's the first time we see a discard so powerful.
How can it be possible ? Will they nerf it one week after the release !

To be fair, I think paladin is getting about as screwed over as priest is in this expansion, and in the meta.
Ok I'm a bit triggered, not because they're getting BAD cards, but at what the two classes are getting in general.
Hunters get a 3 drop that is INSANE that has natural synergy with the class itself, warlocks get a new archtype, shamans get a decent 4 drop and a 2 mana better arcane explosion, warrior gets an awesome new weapon. I just feel like blizzard is almost afraid to give paladins early game after minibot or preist any early game at ALL, but nah totem golem is fair. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the idea of dragon pali, but a good 3 drop on top of blackwing tech and aldor just seams...redundant, and wont help against an enemy imp gang boss, or barrage of secrets from hunter, or a mana wyrm hitting you in the face for 5 the turn after. This is even a BIGGER problem in priest, which has next to NO early game. What paladins, and priests, needed was a good, not amazing but GOOD 2 drop. This, coupled with that DISASTER of a portal card and a great 6 MANA card for paladin, and this garbage set for priest, just makes me a bit disappointed that my favorite classes wont be playable in any tier 1 form until blizzard starts paying attention to the meta. We have plenty of cool cards in priest and paladin, between stand against darkness and now ivory night, Hearold and cabal shadow priest, lightlord and tirion. What we need now is a 2. MANA. PLAY.
I would have taken a 2 mana 2/3 taunt, something that basic. I don't like having to run flame juggler in all of my pali and priest decks except n'zoth, and in that deck I have to play doomsayer and HOPE I draw it.
I'm not mad that paladin OR priest are getting 'bad' cards. The cards are OK, fair, and interesting to blizzards credit. But I AM mad that nearly every other classe that didn't need great cards nearly as bad as these two did are getting some amazing ones. In my opinion, paladin and priest are almost in the same place shaman was pre- WotOG. Which, for those of you who don't remember, was not a good one.
{Rant is over you may exit by scrolling below thank you for reading through my madness}

Turn 1:
Coin into 2 of these. turn 1 with 2 2/3's. Yep, balance

Solid 3 drop for a follow up Houndmaster on turn 4. Ok in arena, decent constructed beast card, 6/10 in my book for the synergy

This is a much different path that blizzard has taken in combining cards and their effects. Just look at Ball of Spiders, 3 one mana cards in a 6 mana package. Much more expensive.
Here, we have 3 3/4 mana cards (3.5 as animal companion minions are random, so their effects are closer to 4 mana minions) for only 8 mana! It makes sense given the constraints of the game to have it that way, and e cards have some differences in terms of card advantage, but the cards can be compaired using their late game potential and the combination of cards into one.

This is a Silver Hand Knight with -1/-1, worth 1 less mana, and with a powerful 'or' effect. All in al, a solid card and replacement for shredder in ramp/combo druid (if combo is still a thing) in Standard.
+1 Blizzard for a powerful, yet manageable, card.

There is a Deck that a lot of people are discounting here that this card fits perfectly into
Tempo Paladin
No, you read right. Tempo, With divine shield and buffs, you have the possibility to generate huge board swings in turs 2 and 3 with Argent Protector and Seal of Champions. And of course, Murlocks fit this role perfectly, both with this new card and the other murloc buff cards available to the class.
The deck even had mi to late game sustainability with Murloc Knight generating value for you late,
There are murloc decks outside of the norms of Agro or Combo, and I hope that people can see this and experience fun games like I've had playing the deck :)

This. This is the Bible to which we pray to the RNG Gods.
"Jania 3:24- And the lord said on to them "LET THERE BE PORTALS". And so there was.

Late Game Pali card. Jut imagine the possibilities with Seal of Champions
a 9 mana 5/8 dragon with divine shield that doubles its attack at the start of your turn! That's a legendary card.
Great possibilities, can't wait to play this over a clumsy twilight drake in Dragon Paladin!
